Week of Jan. 23 - 29
Swimming
Cori Severson, Senior (Brainerd, Minn.), of UW-Eau Claire
Severson won four events in UW-Eau Claire's 167-130 dual meet victory over UW-Whitewater on January 27. She won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle in times of 24.73 and 54.90, respectively. She was also a member of the 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relay teams that took top honors. In a 143-94 dual meet victory over UW-Oshkosh on January 28, Severson won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.30.

Chelsea Moore, Freshman (Plymouth, Minn./St. Louis Park), of UW-Eau Claire
Moore won first place in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a 167-130 dual meet victory over UW-Whitewater on January 27. She earned a 185.90 in the one-meter and a 166.75 in the three-meter competition.

Week of Jan. 16 - 22
Swimming
Carlene Empanger, Senior (Chaska, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Empanger won the 1,650 freestyle (17:59.28) at the Get to the Point Invitational, while placing second in the 200 (1:58.11) and 500 (5:13.39) freestyle.

Diving
Eva Miller, Junior (Milwaukee/Riverside), of UW-Whitewater
Miller earned her second set of qualifying scores for the NCAA Division III Championships in a 131-84 dual meet victory against Beloit on January 18. She posted a score of 248.75 in the one-meter and 271.00 in the three-meter competition. Her mark in the three-meter event set a new school record for six dives. Miller is just the second diver in school history to qualify for the national championships, joining Jan Hebert in 1983. She also claimed the one-meter (165.55) and three-meter (225.40) events in a 122-109 dual meet win at Loras (Iowa) on January 21.

Swimming
Corrie Hopfensperger, Sophomore (Sun Prairie), of UW-La Crosse
Hopfensperger won the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.75), while placing third in the 100-yard freestyle (57.52) in UW-La Crosse's 160-81 dual meet victory over UW-Oshkosh on January 14. She was also a member of the Eagles' winning 200-yard freestyle relay team (1:44.94).

Diving
Amanda Medendorp, Sophomore (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-La Crosse
Medendorp won the one-meter (265.70) and three-meter (246.10) competitions in UW-La Crosse's 160-81 dual victory over UW-Oshkosh on January 14. She then captured the one-meter (389.10) and three-meter (436.80) events at the UW-Oshkosh Diving Invitational on January 15.

Week of Dec. 5 - 11
Swimming
Cori Severson, Senior (Brainerd, Minn.), of UW-Eau Claire
Severson won top honors in two events individually to go along with a first-place relay finish in a dual meet against UW-La Crosse on December 10. She won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle with times of 25.22 and 55.47, respectively. Severson was also a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that posted a time of 1:42.47.

Diving
Amanda Medendorp, Sophomore (Hartland/Arrowhead), of UW-La Crosse
Medendorp won the one-meter (247.10) and three-meter (265.65) competitions in UW-La Crosse's dual meet victory at UW-Eau Claire on December 10. She qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in both events.

Week of Nov. 28 - Dec. 4
Swimming
Caitlin Hake, Freshman (Red Wing, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Hake helped lead the Pointers to a second-place finish behind UW-Milwaukee at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational held December 2-3. She set a school record with a "B" cut time of 52.68 in the prelims of the 100-yard freestyle. Hake finished third in the finals of the event and was second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.10. She also swam on a school-record setting relay as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay with Jerica Crook, Kelsey Drunstedt and Beth Bard posting a "B" cut time of 1:36.43.

Sarah Schettle, Junior (Oshkosh/West), of UW-Oshkosh
Schettle won the 100-yard breaststroke and swam on the first-place 400-yard medley relay team as UW-Oshkosh captured the team title at the Chicago (Ill.) Invitational held November 11-12. She won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:12.79 and swam on the 400-yard medley relay team that turned in a performance of 4:18.98. Schettle also placed fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:39.48. UW-Oshkosh won the eight-team meet with 625 points, while Luther (Iowa) finished second with 593.

Swimming
Stephanie Grieger, Senior (Germantown), of UW-La Crosse
Grieger won the 200-yard individual medley (2:16.79) and 100-yard butterfly (1:02.19) at the Northfield Quad Classic on November 4.

Medendorp won the one and three-meter diving competitions at the Northfield Quad Classic on November 4. She qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in both events.

Week of Oct. 24 - 30
Swimming
Caitlin Hake, Freshman (Red Wing, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Hake had a big weekend for the Pointers as they took on UW-Eau Claire, St. Cloud State (Minn.) and Northern Michigan. Against UW-Eau Claire on October 28, she captured the 50-yard freestyle in 24.86 and the 100-yard freestyle in 54.46. She was also a member of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:42.82. On October 29 against St. Cloud State and Northern Michigan, Hake was a member of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team in 1:41.41 and also finished runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle events.
