Week of Jan. 31 - Feb. 6
Swimming
Meghan Walsh, Sophomore (Austin, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Walsh was an individual triple-winner in the Pointers' dual meet with Gustavus
Adolphus (Minn.) on February 5, setting two pool records in the process. She
broke the Lund Center pool record in both the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events
in earning two of her three victories. Walsh turned in times of 59.26 and 2:12.31,
respectively. She also beat the field to the wall in the 200-yard individual
medley, stopping the clock in 2:15.75.

Diving
Sarah Thayer, Junior (Grafton/Cedarburg), of UW-La Crosse
Thayer won the one-meter (271.50 points) and thee-meter (281.50) diving events
in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over UW-Whitewater on February 5. She qualified
for the NCAA Division III Championships in both events with her performances.

Week of Jan. 24 - 30
Swimming
Anne Melvin, Senior (Abbotsford), of UW-La Crosse
Melvin won the 50-yard freestyle and was a member of two winning relays in UW-La
Crosse's dual victory over UW-Stevens Point on January 28. She won the 50 free
with a "B" qualifying and Mitchell Hall record time of 24.21. Melvin
was also on the Eagles' winning 400-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays.
The 400-yard medley relay earned a "B" qualifying time at 3:59.73,
while the 400-yard freestyle relay won at 3:39.88.

Sarah Myers, Sophomore (Eau Claire/North), of UW-Eau Claire
Myers finished with two wins and two second-place finishes on the week, claiming
first on the one-meter board against Hamline (Minn.) and first on the three-meter
board against UW-Whitewater. She posted a score of 218.35 in the one-meter event
and a winning score of 245.30 in the three-meter competition.

Week of Jan. 17 - 23
Swimming
Elizabeth Miles, Senior (Minnetonka, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Miles won three events in helping lead UW-La Crosse to the team title at the
Get to the Point Invitational at UW-Stevens Point. She won the 200 (2:12.72)
and 400 (4:39.23) individual medley as well as the 200 butterfly (2:09.34).
Miles earned "B" qualifying times for the NCAA Division III Championship
in the 400 individual medley and 200 butterfly.

Sarah Thayer, Junior (Grafton/Cedarburg), of UW-La Crosse
Thayer won the one-meter (390.00 points) and three-meter (432.50) diving events
at the Get to the Point Invitational at UW-Stevens Point. She qualified for
the NCAA Division III Championship in both events and helped lead UW-La Crosse
to the team title at the invitational.

Erica Knuesel, Freshman (Oregon), of UW-La Crosse
Knuesel won the 200-yard individual medley (2:19.13) and the 500-yard freestyle
(5:30.47) in UW-La Crosse's 181-60 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh on January 15.

Diving
Kristina Wanous, Freshman (North Mankato, Minn./West), of UW-La Crosse
Wanous won the one-meter competition with a score of 230.25 in UW-La Crosse's
dual meet against UW-Oshkosh on January 15. She also placed fourth in both the
one-meter and three-meter events at the UW-Oshkosh Diving Invitational on January
16 with scores of 324.03 and 344.85, respectively.

Fallon Toomsen, Senior (Freeport, Ill.), of UW-La Crosse
Toomsen won the 200-yard individual medley (2:16.21) and the 200-yard breaststroke
(2:35.35) in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over UW-Eau Claire on December 11.

Annie Gorman, Junior (Menomonie), of UW-Eau Claire
Gorman finished with five first-place finishes at the Titan Invitational. In
day one of the competition, she won the 500-yard freestyle event with a time
of 5:27.35. On Saturday, Gorman won the 400-yard individual medley with a time
of 5:01.34 and also won the 200-yard butterfly in 2:21.32. She was also a member
of the winning 400 and 800-yard freestyle relay teams.

Myers won the three-meter diving competition at the Titan Invitational, while
taking fourth on the one-meter board. Her score of 351.20 was good for the win
on the three-meter board and more than 50 points better than the runner-up.

Elizabeth Herder, Junior (Junction City/SPASH), of UW-Stevens Point
Herder was an individual triple winner in the Pointers' dual meet against NCAA
Division II St. Cloud State (Minn.). She claimed the 50-yard freestyle in 24.96,
the 100-yard backstroke in 59.45 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:13.18. Herder
was also on the victorious 400-yard medley relay team.

Swimming
Kelly Deters, Senior (Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice), of UW-River Falls
Deters helped the Falcons to the team's first WIAC dual meet victory in four
years at UW-Whitewater on November 5. She won the 50-yard freestyle in 26.43
and tied for first in the 100-yard freestyle in 59.07. She was a member of the
Falcon 200-yard medley relay team that placed first in 1:58.74 and the 400-yard
freestyle relay team that placed first in 3:55.51.

Renee Porter, Senior (Wauwatosa/West), of UW-Oshkosh
Porter captured titles in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle events at the St. Norbert
Invitational on October 29. She won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.94
and the 100-yard freestyle with a performance of 58.04. She also was a member
of the Titans' winning 200-yard medley and 500-yard freestyle relay teams.

Sarah Myers, Sophomore (Eau Claire/North), of UW-Eau Claire
Myers grabbed a first place and a third place finish in a dual meet against
UW-Stevens Point on October 29. She took first place in the one-meter diving
event with a score of 203.20 and took third on the three-meter board with a
score of 185.85.
