Swimming
Elizabeth Miles, Junior (Minnetonka, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Miles won the 200 individual medley with a pool record time of 2:12.77 in UW-La
Crosse's dual victory over UW-River Falls on February 6.

Diving
Sarah Thayer, Sophomore (Grafton/Cedarburg), of UW-La Crosse
Thayer won the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions in UW-La Crosse's
dual win over UW-River Falls. She set Mitchell Hall pool records in both events,
scoring 281.70 in the one-meter and 293.20 in the three-meter. Thayer's three-meter
score was also a school record and she improved her qualifying standards in
both events for the NCAA Division III Championships. She then won the one-meter
(247.50) and three-meter (224.20) in UW-La Crosse's dual victory at UW-Whitewater.

Week of Jan. 26 - Feb. 1
Swimming
Liz VonFeldt, Senior (Lancaster), of UW-Eau Claire
VonFeldt helped the Blugolds to a first-place finish over UW-River Falls and
UW-Whitewater as she captured three first-place finishes. She won the 100-yard
butterfly with a time of 1:01.96 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of
2:36.80. VonFeldt was also a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay team.

Adria Bye, Senior (Appleton), of UW-Eau Claire
Bye won the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a triangular meet that
featured UW-River Falls and UW-Whitewater. She won the one-meter competition
with a score of 227.35 and the three-meter event with a 230.40.

Week of Jan. 19 - 25
Swimming
Carlene Empanger, Sophomore (Chaska, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Empanger won the 500-yard freestyle (5:14.54) and finished fourth in the 400
I.M. (4:46.41) at the Get to the Point Invitational. She qualified for the NCAA
Division III Championships in the 500-yard freestyle with a prelims time of
5:10.10. Empanger was also a member of the Eagles' first-place 800-yard freestyle
relay team with a national qualifying time of 7:54.56.

Thayer won the one-meter diving competition at the Get to the Point Invitational
with a NCAA Division III qualifying mark of 380.70. She was third in the three-meter
event with a score of 374.10.

Swimming
Fallon Toomsen, Junior (Freeport, Ill.), of UW-La Crosse
Toomsen won the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.48) and was a member of UW-La Crosse's
winning 200 medley relay (1:52.85). She was also third in the 200-yard individual
medley (2:25.75). UW-La Crosse defeated UW-Oshkosh 178.00-64.00 in the dual
meet.

Rachel Heitkamp, Senior (Mequon/Homestead), of UW-Oshkosh
Heitkamp won the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions in UW-Oshkosh's
dual meet at UW-La Crosse on Janaury 17 with scores of 261.30 and 252.50, respectively.
She also claimed both diving events at the UW-Oshkosh Diving Invitational on
January 18.

Week of Dec. 1 - 7
Swimming
Elizabeth Miles, Junior (Minnetonka, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Miles had four top-five finishes at the Mutual of Omaha Invitational held December
5-6. She was fourth in the 200 individual medley (2:14.13) and 200 butterfly
(2:11.06), while finishing fifth in the 400 individual medley (4:41.93) and
100 butterfly (1:00.65). She earned a NCAA Division III 'B' cut in the 400 individual
medley (4:40.59 in prelims), 100 butterfly (59.76 in prelims) and 200 butterfly.
Miles helped lead UW-La Crosse to a third-place team finish in the 12-team invitational.
The Eagles finished with 700 points, trailing only NCAA Division II institutions
Truman State (Mo.) and Nebraska-Omaha.

Rachel Heitkamp, Senior (Mequon/Homestead), of UW-Oshkosh
Heitkamp won a pair of diving events at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational held December
5-6. She took the one-meter title with a score of 471.05 and the three-meter
crown with a score of 427.95. UW-Oshkosh finished second in the four-team meet
with 527 points.

Week of Nov. 10 - 16
Swimming
Anne Melvin, Junior (Abbotsford), of UW-La Crosse
Melvin won the 50 freestyle (24.59) and 100 butterfly (58.05) in UW-La Crosse's
triangular victories over Augustana (Ill.) and Lawrence. She broke her own pool
record in winning the 100 butterfly. Melvin earned a NCAA Division III qualifying
"A" cut in the 100 butterfly and "B" cut in the 50 freestyle.

Thayer won the one-meter (244.40) and three-meter competition (240.00) in UW-La
Crosse's triangular victories over Augustana (Ill.) and Lawrence on Saturday,
November 15.

Swimming
Annie Gorman, Sophomore (Menomonie), of UW-Eau Claire
Gorman took three first place finishes in a dual meet victory with MSU-Moorhead
as the Blugolds downed the Dragons 162-138 in Eau Claire. She won the 200-yard
butterfly with a time of 2:18.84, while also claiming the 100-yard freestyle
in 56.33. Gorman was also a member of the first place 200-yard medley relay
team.

Diving
Rachel Heitkamp, Senior (Mequon/Homestead), of UW-Oshkosh
Heitkamp won a pair of diving events in UW-Oshkosh's 164-83 dual meet victory
over UW-Whitewater on November 8. She finished first in the one-meter diving
with a score of 270.50 and the three-meter diving with a score of 297.55, with
both efforts surpassing the qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship.

Week of Oct. 27 - Nov. 2
Swimming
Alissa Colbert, Freshman (Woodbury, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Colbert was a double winner for the Pointers in a 165-78 dual meet victory over
UW-Eau Claire. She won the longest race of the night, the 1650 freestyle, in
18:446.08. She then claimed first in the 500 freestyle in 5:23.75.

Diving
Adria Bye, Senior (Appleton/Kimberly), of UW-Eau Claire
Bye posted impressive scores in a dual meet against UW-Stevens Point and at
the St. Cloud State (Minn.) Invitational. Against the Pointers, she claimed
first in the three-meter event with a score of 221.00 on six dives and took
second in the one-meter competition with a score of 202.40. In St. Cloud, Bye
placed fifth in the one-meter with a score of 274.70 and sixth in the three-meter
with a mark of 262.75.
