Week of Feb. 4 - 10
Swimming
Elizabeth Miles, Freshman (Minnetonka, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Miles won the 200 butterfly in La Crosse's dual victory over Whitewater. She set a school and pool record with her time of 2:10.75. Miles also provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship.

Diving
Lisa Tulkki, Senior (Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori), of UW-La Crosse
Tulkki swept the one and three-meter competition in dual victories over River Falls and Whitewater. Against River Falls, she won the one-meter with 259.10 points and the three-meter with 267.25 points. She qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in both events and set a La Crosse record in the three-meter competition. Against Whitewater, she won the one-meter competition with 248.60 points and the three-meter with 260.50 points. She also qualified for the NCAA Championship in both events.

Week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3
Swimming
Alyssa Bartz, Sophomore (Beloit), of UW-Stevens Point
Bartz won the 50-yard freestyle and was a member of the winning 400-yard medley relay in the Pointers’ dual meet against La Crosse. Bartz claimed the 50-yard freestyle in 25.03 and then helped the medley relay team to a time of 4:05.83.

Burk won both diving events in a dual meet with Whitewater, scoring a 245.25 to win the three-meter competition and a 230.30 to win the one-meter event.

Week of Jan. 21 - 27
Swimming
Krista Melvin, Freshman (Abbotsford), of UW-La Crosse
Melvin won the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.80) and placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (55.03) at the Get To The Point Invitational in Stevens Point. She helped the Eagles to the team title at the 11-team invitational.

Diving
Lisa Tulkki, Senior (Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori), of UW-La Crosse
Tulkki won the three-meter competition (401.70) and finished third in the one-meter competition (333.60) at the Get To The Point Invitational in Stevens Point. She helped the Eagles to the team title at the 11-team invitational.

Week of Jan. 14 - 20
Swimming
Elizabeth Miles, Freshman (Minnetonka, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Miles won two events in La Crosse’s 139-98 dual meet victory over Oshkosh. She won the 100 butterfly at 1:00.82 and the 200 freestyle at 2:03.23.

Diving
Erin LeRoy, Senior (Oshkosh/North), of UW-Oshkosh
LeRoy surpassed the national qualifying standard on three occasions over the weekend. In a double dual against Carthage and Lawrence, she won the three-meter event with a score of 298.30. Against La Crosse Saturday, she won both diving events scoring a 265.80 in the three-meter and 255.55 in the one-meter.

Week of Jan. 7 - 13
Swimming
Kristjana Marston, Junior (Hudson), of UW-Eau Claire
Marston won the 200-yard butterfly by 1.5 seconds with a 2:18.23 clocking and was third in the 200 freestyle in 2:06.61 in a dual meet against St. Olaf (Minn.). Her butterfly time was the best by a Blugold this season and her freestyle time was a personal best this year. She also swam on the Blugolds’ winning 400 freestyle relay team which was clocked in 3:52.15

Week of Dec. 3 - 9
Swimming
Christine Sammons, Senior (Hastings, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Sammons qualified for the NCAA Championship with “A” cut times in two events at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. She set a meet record in the prelims of the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.83. In the finals, she placed second in 1:06.89. She also qualified in the 200-yard breaststroke, placing second with a time of 2:23.31. Sammons was also a member of the second place 200-yard medley relay team.

Burk won the one-meter diving with a score of 224.45 and the three-meter diving with a score of 231.25 in a dual meet against La Crosse. Both scores were the best by a Blugold in those events this season.

Week of Nov. 26 - Dec. 2
Swimming
Liz Tierney, Junior (La Crosse/Aquinas), of UW-Oshkosh
Tierney was a triple-event winner as Oshkosh won its own four-team invitational held November 30 and December 1. Tierney won the 200 yard individual medley with a time of 2:15.87, the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.54 and the 200 yard butterfly with a time of 2:17.66. Her performance in the 200 yard butterfly set a school record. Oshkosh won the meet with 579, while Eau Claire finished second with 576 points, River Falls third with 382 and Whitewater fourth with 314. It was the first time that Oshkosh had finished ahead of Eau Claire in a dual meet, invitational, conference meet or national meet since the early 1970s.

Anna Meyer, Senior (La Crescent, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Meyer was second in the 50 freestyle at 25.90 in La Crosse’s 138-95 dual meet victory over Lawrence. She also provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championship in the 100 backstroke. Meyer finished with a time of 59.97 in the backstroke as an exhibition.

Heitkamp won the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a 151-90 Titan dual meet victory over Whitewater. She won the one-meter event with a score of 272.00 and the three-meter with a score of 267.10.

Ann Jopke, Sophomore (Eau Claire), of UW-La Crosse
Jopke won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:26.71 and finished third in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:07.72 in La Crosse's 180-65 dual meet win over Luther (Iowa).

Larson claimed three firsts and a second in dual meets against Eau Claire and Whitewater this weekend. She won the one-meter event with a score of 216.35 and the 3-meter event with 214.95 against Whitewater. Against the Blugolds, Larson won the one-meter with 215.90 points and placed second in the three-meter event in 213.30.

Christine Sammons, Senior (Hastings, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Sammons led the Pointers in a 138-101 dual meet victory over Oshkosh on Saturday. She won the 400-meter medley in 4:54.66 and the 200-meter breaststroke in 2:27.51. She was also a member of the winning 400-meter medley relay in 4:14.00.

LeRoy won both the one and three-meter diving events in a dual meet against Stevens Point. She won the one-meter event with a score of 256.55 and the three-meter competition with a 276.85.

Week of Oct. 15 - 21
Swimming
Christine Sammons, Senior (Hastings, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Sammons led the Pointers to a dual meet victory over South Dakota, which finished 25th in NCAA Division II last season. She won the 100 breaststroke with a DakotaDome pool-record time of 1:51.61 and also placed second in the 200 individual medley at 2:32.70. Sammons was also a member of the 200 medley relay that finished second.
