Julia Rudd, Junior (Oshkosh/West), of UW-La Crosse
Rudd won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the WIAC Qualifier in La Crosse on
April 30. She set a track and school record with a winning time of 10:35.30.
Rudd also automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Robyn Jarocki, Sophomore (Merrill), of UW-Oshkosh
Jarocki turned in a stellar performance at the WIAC Qualifier held April 30
in La Crosse by surpassing the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division
III Championships in three events. She won the shot put with a toss of 47-8
and the hammer throw with a heave of 176-0, while finishing second in the discus
with a hurl of 154-7. Her performance in the discus and shot put established
school records.

Elizabeth Woodworth, Senior (Marinette), of UW-Oshkosh
Woodworth recorded the fastest 800-meter run time in NCAA Division III history
when she finished second in the University & College Division event at the
prestigious Drake Relays held April 22-24 in Des Moines, Iowa. Kinsey Coles
of North Dakota State won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.11, while Woodworth
finished second in 2:06.49 and Michelle Lahann of the University of Iowa third
in 2:06.79. Woodworth also anchored UW-Oshkosh's 3,200-meter relay team that
placed fourth in the College Division of the Drake Relays with a time of 9:08.65.

Julia Slabosheski, Sophomore (Princeton), of UW-Stevens Point
Slabosheski broke her own school record in the discus at the UW-La Crosse on
April 24. She recorded a throw of 48.82 meters (160-2), breaking her old mark
of 45.44 meters (149-1) by over 11 feet. Slabosheski's throw automatically qualified
her for the NCAA Division III Championships. She also finished 10th in the shot
put at the eight-team event.

Elizabeth Woodworth, Senior (Marinette), of UW-Oshkosh
Woodworth recorded the fastest 1,500-meter time in NCAA Division III history
when she finished fourth in the event at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays held
April 16-18 in Walnut, Calif. Her performance of 4:18.55 was just 1.05 seconds
off the qualifying standard for the United States Olympic Trials. Arianna Lambie
of Stanford University won the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:16.89. A total
of 103 runners competed in the event.

Ashley Nelson, Junior (Darwin, Minn./Litchfield), of UW-Eau Claire
Nelson recorded a pair of first-place finishes, breaking two facility records
in the process as the Blugolds won the seven-team UW-Eau Claire Open. She posted
the second-longest long jump in NCAA Division III this season covering 18-7
3/4 and breaking a 22-year old school record and Simpson Track facility record.
Nelson established a second facility record in winning the triple jump with
a leap of 36-10 1/2.

Oostdyk broke her school record in the steeplechase, winning the event at Gustavus
Adolphus (Minn.) on April 9 in a time of 11:32.30. She took 17 seconds off the
school mark she set last week.

with a heave of 140-3.

Angela Klatt, Senior (Eagan, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Klatt won the 100-meter dash (12.15) and 200-meter dash (25.22) at the North
Central (Ill.) Quadrangular on April 3. She provisionally qualified for the
NCAA Division III Championships in both events. UW-La Crosse finished second
in the meet with 216 team points.

Robyn Jarocki, Sophomore (Merrill), of UW-Oshkosh
Jarocki surpassed one automatic and two provisional qualifying standards for
the NCAA Division III Championships with her efforts at a quadrangular hosted
by North Central (Ill.) on April 3. She helped UW-Oshkosh to the team title
by winning the discus with a heave of 141-6 and the hammer throw with a toss
of 181-3 3/4. She also finished second in the shot put with a hurl of 45-1 3/4.
Jarocki's performance in the hammer throw is the best in the NCAA Division III
this season and an automatic qualifying effort for the national meet. UW-Oshkosh
captured the quadrangular with 228.50 points.
