Kristina Bennwitz, Freshman (Verona), of UW-La Crosse
Bennwitz took the individual title at the Lake Wissota Invitational on Oct. 19 in Chippewa Falls. She won the 5,000-meter race in 19:06 to surpass a field of 49 runners.

Ayla Mitchell, Sophomore (New Richmond), of UW-Oshkosh
Mitchell was the top NCAA Division III runner as UW-Oshkosh finished third in the Brooks Invitational held Oct. 13 in Winneconne. She placed second in a field of 197 participants with a time of 21:14. Bethany Carr of NAIA Olivet Nazarene University (Ill.) won the 6,000-meter race with a time of 21:01, while Marie Borner of Bethel University (Minn.) finished third in 21:22. UW-Oshkosh placed third in the 16-team meet with 129 points.

Jenny Melville, Senior (Waukesha/West), of UW-Oshkosh
Melville was the top individual finisher as UW-Oshkosh captured the six-team Ripon College Invitational on Oct. 6. She completed the 5,000-meter course with a time of 21:02. Beth Pollard of Marquette University placed second with a time of 21:43 in a field of 64 runners.

Becca Jordahl, Sophomore (Pocatello, Idaho/Century), of UW-River Falls
Jordahl won the Maroon III Race at the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 29 in Minneapolis, Minn. She covered the 6,000-meter course in 22:01.55 and beat the second place finisher by 30 seconds in a field of 562 competitors. Her time was the third-best performance in school history.

Hannah Dieringer, Senior (Spencer), of UW-Stevens Point
Dieringer won the individual title at the Concordia (Wis.) Invitational on Sept. 22 in Mequon with a course-record time of 23:13 over the 6,000-meter course. It was her first career individual win and helped the Pointers claim the team title.

Becca Jordahl, Sophomore (Pocatello, Idaho/Century), of UW-River Falls
Jordahl won the individual title at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational on Sept. 15. She covered the 6,000-meter course in 22:21 and beat the second-place finisher by a step at the finish line. Jordahl defeated 368 participants in a race that featured NCAA Division II and III teams.
