Week of Oct. 17 - 23
Krista Jahimiak, Sophomore (La Crosse/Central), of UW-Stout
Jahimiak won the Lake Wissota tri-meet with UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse and UW-Stout on October 21. She completed the 5K course with a season-best time of 18:57 to better a field of 48 competitors.

Week of Oct. 10 - 16
Jenna Mitchler, Senior (Kaukauna), of UW-Stevens Point
Mitchler finished first at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational on October 15 in Winneconne with a time of 21:41. She bettered a field of 112 participants over the 6,000-meter course to help UW-Stevens Point to a second-place finish. The Pointers had 61 team points, just 14 points behind champion Washington (Mo.), which is ranked No. 4 nationally.

Megan Kielar, Senior (McHenry, Ill.), of UW-Whitewater
Kielar placed sixth out of 216 runners at the Border States Invitational in Edwardsville, Ill. on October 8. Her time of 18:21.2 is a career best for her and also the top time for a UW-Whitewater runner this season. Kielar's performance is the eighth fastest in school history on a 5,000-meter course.

Week of Sept. 26 - Oct. 2
Kristen Painter, Junior (Blue Earth, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Painter won the individual crown at the Blugold Open in Colfax, Wis. on September 30. She helped lead UW-La Crosse to the team title as she ran the 6,000-meter course in a time of 22:41.7. A total of 344 runners participated in the meet.

Week of Sept. 19 - 25
Julia Rudd, Senior (Oshkosh/West), of UW-La Crosse
Rudd helped lead UW-La Crosse to the team title at the Roy Griak Invitational held September 24 at Les Bolstad Golf Course. She captured the individual title, running the 6,000-meter course in a Griak record time of 21:56. The race featured 279 runners and 24 teams.

Rosa Alvarez, Sophomore (Watertown), of UW-Oshkosh
Alvarez outran 249 competitors to capture the individual title at the Midwest Collegiate Championship held September 17 at UW-Parkside. She completed the 5,000-meter course in a time of 18:44, one second faster than second-place Camille Medema of Calvin (Mich.). UW-Oshkosh finished fourth with 120 team points.
