Holland, Mich.--University of Wisconsin-Whitewater lost to Howard Payne University (Texas), 69-59, in the NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball National Semifinals at DeVos Fieldhouse on the campus of Hope College (Mich.) on March 21. The Warhawks (28-4) will participate in the national third-place game on March 22 at 3:30 p.m. (eastern) against Oglethorpe University (Ga.) (27-6). Howard Payne (32-0) advances to the national championship contest against Messiah College (Pa.) (30-2) at 6 p.m. (eastern). # # # # # |
