RELEASED: Thursday, November 8, 2007 Titans and Warhawks Advance In NCAA Women’s Volleyball Regionals
UW-Whitewater traveled to the St. Thomas University (Minn.) regional in St. Paul, Minn. to earn their quarterfinal triumphs. The Warhawks beat Concordia College-Moorhead (Minn.) 30-26, 30-23, 30-22 and will face Bethel University (Minn.) in the semifinals on Nov. 9 at 4:30 p.m. UW-Eau Claire was also involved in the St. Thomas regional, but was ousted by the host institution 30-25, 23-30, 30-26, 30-15. Competing in the Carthage College regional in Kenosha, Wis., UW-Oshkosh defeated conference foe UW-Platteville 26-30, 30-22, 30-32, 30-26, 15-13 and will face Washington University (Mo.) in semifinals on Nov. 9 at 4:30 p.m. UW-La Crosse also participated in the Carthage regional, but was upended by Calvin College (Mich.) 26-30, 30-26, 30-20, 30-15. # # # # #
