Berger led UW-Stevens Point to a 5-1 record during the week, including a 3-1
mark in the WIAC. She was 11-for-23 (.478) at the plate with five runs scored,
three RBI's, one double and one stolen base. In Wednesday's match up with Edgewood,
Berger was five-for-nine with two runs scored and one RBI as the Pointers stopped
the Eagles' 17-game winning streak. She went two-for-two with two runs scored
and one RBI in a 6-2 victory over UW-Stout on April 29.

Frisbie earned wins in both of her starts to improve to 10-2 on the season.
She pitched a complete game shutout in a 1-0 eight-inning victory over UW-La
Crosse on April 26, allowing only two hits and striking out six batters. Frisbie
also threw five innings in a 10-2 victory over Dubuque (Iowa) on April 27. She
allowed four hits and two earned runs, while striking out four batters and walking
one.

Leisgang continued her hot hitting as UW-Eau Claire won five of six games, including
a perfect 4-0 mark against conference schools. In the bottom of the seventh
with two strikes and two outs, down 1-0 against UW-Whitewater on April 23, she
hit a game-tying double and scored the game-winning run one batter later. Against
UW-Stevens Point on April 22, she led off the game with a home run for the fourth
time this season. For the week, Leisgang was nine-for-18 (.500) from the plate
with six runs scored, three RBIs, two doubles, one home run and one walk. She
also had three multi-hit games and extended her hitting streak to 15 games.

Stampfli pitched 23.2 scoreless innings to record the victory in all four of
UW-Oshkosh's victories during the week. In a 3-0 win over UW-Platteville on
April 20, she struck out her 187th batter of the season to establish a WIAC
single-season record. Stampfli struck out nine batters in the contest and allowed
just six hits in seven innings of work. In UW-Oshkosh's 8-3 victory over St.
Norbert on April 23, Stampfli relieved the starting pitcher in the second inning
and struck out the 404th batter of her two-year career to set a school record.
Stampfli's other starting assignment was a three-hit shutout of St. Norbert
on April 23. She struck out 14 batters in seven innings to lead the Titans to
a 1-0 victory.

Strnad hit .429 (6-for-14) and led UW-Platteville to a 3-1 league record during
the week. In a 10-9 victory over UW-Whitewater on April 14, she went three-for-five
with three runs scored and two RBIs, including the game-winning RBI in the bottom
of the seventh. Strnad also had a pair of sacrifice flies in a 4-3 opening-game
win over the Warhawks. On the week, she counted four runs scored, four RBIs
and two doubles.

McKinney picked up all four pitching wins in doubleheaders against UW-Stout
and UW-River Falls during the week. She started the front end of both games
and earned complete game victories and came on in relief to earn extra inning
triumphs in both second games. McKinney ran her string of consecutive scoreless
innings to 61 and her string of innings without allowing an earned run to 66
before UW-River Falls scored with one out in the first inning of the first game.
For the week, McKinney pitched 18.1 innings, allowed 12 hits, one run (earned)
and one walk while striking out 13. Her shutout against UW-Stout was her ninth
of the season, tying the school single-season record set by Kari DeGross in
1988 and Heidi Bergstrom in 2000. She now owns a 15-1 season record with a 0.45
ERA and has walked five and struck out 100 in 93.2 innings.

Tyriver hit .542 (13-for-24) with nine runs scored and three RBIs to help UW-Oshkosh
go unbeaten in eight games and extend its winning streak to a school-record
tying 11 games. She hit safely in six of UW-Oshkosh's eight games. Tyriver went
three-for-five with a double and three runs scored during the Titans' 7-4 victory
over UW-Whitewater on April 4. She also went three-for-three at the plate in
UW-Oshkosh's 8-0 win over UW-River Falls on April 8 and the Titans' 5-1 victory
over UW-Stout on April 9. Tyriver also handled all 28 fielding chances without
an error during the week.

McKinney went 3-0 on the weekend as the Blugolds opened conference play with
sweeps at UW-La Crosse and UW-Platteville. In game one at UW-La Crosse, McKinney
pitched seven scoreless innings allowing two hits and striking out nine against
no walks in a 3-0 victory. The next day at UW-Platteville McKinney allowed one
lone hit striking out four with no walks in a 10-0 win in six innings. McKinney
was not done for the day as she came in to pitch the final 3.1 innings of game
two allowing two hits while striking out two and walking none to preserve a
15-6 Blugold win. Over the weekend, McKinney pitched 16.1 scoreless innings
allowing just five hits while striking out 15 and not walking a single batter
in three games. McKinney has now pitched 53.1 scoreless innings, including seven
shutouts during that stretch. During the streak McKinney has allowed 20 hits
striking 63 batters against just one walk.

Gersich helped UW-Whitewater start the season with a 10-2 record on its spring
trip to Fort Myers, Florida. She batted .519 (14-for-27) with three home runs,
three doubles and one triple for a 1.037 slugging percentage. Gersich added
11 runs scored and eight RBIs in the 12 contests. She recorded at least one
hit in eight games and had six multi-hit performances.

Stampfli was named the most valuable player at the Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) Round-Robin
Tournament held March 31 and April 1. She recorded all three of UW-Oshkosh's
pitching victories by allowing just one run (unearned) and five hits in 16.1
innings on the mound. She also struck out 28 batters while walking none. Stampfli
pitched one complete game in the tournament, a two-hit shutout of Olivet Nazarene
on March 31. The Titans won the game 2-0 as Stampfli struck out 11 batters.
UW-Oshkosh took the team title with a 3-1 record.

Paulus helped the Blugolds to a 9-1 record at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee,
Florida. Against Baptist Bible (Mo.) on March 24, she was 3-for-3 with two runs
scored and one RBI in an 8-0 victory. In a 5-1 win over Augsburg (Minn.) on
March 23, Paulus went 3-for-4 with one RBI. She collected two hits in each game
in wins over Illinois Wesleyan, Colorado College, Endicott (Mass.) and Mt. Vernon
Nazarene (Ohio), recording eight hits in 11 at-bats (.727), with four runs scored
and two RBIs. During the Blugolds' seven-game win streak, Paulus is 15-for-24
(.625) with one double, one triple, six RBIs and five stolen bases.

Tobalsky helped UW-Stevens Point to an 8-2 record on their spring trip to Kissimmee,
Florida. She earned the first save of her career in the Pointers' 4-3 win over
Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) on March 24, striking out six batters, including
the game-ending out after the Presidents loaded the bases. For the week, Tobalsky
went 4-1 with a 1.80 earned run average. She struck out 33 batters and surrendered
nine earned runs and 28 hits in 35.0 innings pitched.

Bradley hit .613 (19-for-31) during UW-La Crosse's 10 games at the Rebel Spring
Games in Kissimmee, Florida. She had at least one hit in eight of 10 games,
including five contests with at least two hits. Bradley went 4-for-5 with two
runs scored and one RBI against Massachusetts College on March 14 and 4-for-4
with three runs scored and three RBIs vs. Washington (Md.) on March 17. She
finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a run scored against Hamilton (N.Y.) on
March 16. Bradley leads the team in average, hits, RBIs (13), runs scored (10)
and total bases (24).

McKinney has helped the Blugolds jump out to a 6-2 start with their only losses
coming against defending NCAA Division III champion St. Thomas (Minn.). In the
season opener, McKinney pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing just three
hits while striking out 12 batters and walking one in a 3-0 victory over Buena
Vista (Iowa). Against St. Thomas, she allowed three earned runs in six innings,
striking out six and allowing one walk. Facing Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.), McKinney
allowed six hits and two earned runs in a 9-2 victory. For the season, McKinney
is 3-1 with a 1.30 earned run average, posting one shutout and allowing 16 hits
with five earned runs. She has struck out 30 of 95 batters faced and allowed
just three walks.
