RELEASED: Tuesday, December 18, 2007 Eight Secure NSCAA All-Central Region Accolades
UW-Eau Claire’s Anna Talbot (Sr., D) was a first team selection. The Blugolds’ Liz Kooistra (Jr., MF), Amy Smith (Jr., F) and Allie Rivard (Jr., GK), along with UW-Stevens Point’s Amanda Prawat (Jr., F) and Kaylee Weise (Jr., F) were second team choices. UW-Eau Claire’s Allison Smith (Jr., D) and UW-La Crosse’s Amy Cory (Sr., F) were third team honorees. The Central Region includes players representing the WIAC, College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Midwest Conference, Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Rivard was a first team choice a year ago, while Kooistra was a third team pick. Prawat claimed third team status the last two seasons. Talbot is now eligible for the All-America Team. # # # # #
