Two Claim Academic All-America Women’s Soccer Status
Madison, Wis.--University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Meredith DeCaluwe and UW-Whitewater’s Mary Donohoo have been named to the 2007 CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division Women’s Soccer Third Team.
The team is comprised of all NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA players throughout the country and is voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), while being sponsored by ESPN The Magazine.
DeCaluwe, a senior from Naperville, Ill. (Central H.S.), is majoring in math education with a minor in sociology and boasts a 3.99 grade point average. She was named the WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete in women’s soccer this season.
Donohoo, a junior from Wauwatosa, Wis. (West H.S.), was one of four individuals on the 15-member third team to carry a 4.00 grade point average. She is majoring in elementary education.
