Amy Todd, Sophomore (Hartland/Arrowhead), Midfielder of UW-La Crosse
Todd scored three goals and added two assists during the week. She had the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Concordia-Moorhead (Minn.), which was tied for fourth in the NSCAA Central Region rankings. Todd then had two goals and two assists in UW-La Crosse’s 5-3 win at UW-River Falls.

Talbot helped UW-Eau Claire to a 3-0 victory over St. Scholastica (Minn.) on Oct. 29 as the Blugolds set a school record for wins in a season with 18. She was matched up against the Saints’ top scorer and helped limit her to just one shot in the contest. Talbot also was credited with an assist on the game-winning goal. UW-Eau Claire earned its 13th shutout of the season and ended St. Scholastica’s 15-match winning streak with the win.

Prawat led the Pointers’ offensive attack in a 9-0 victory over UW-Stout on Oct. 21. She registered a school single-match record with five goals and also added an assist. It is just the fourth time in conference history that an individual has registered five goals in a match with the most recent by UW-La Crosse’s Jessica Manchester against UW-Superior on Sept. 16, 2000. UW-Stout had only given up 22 goals all season entering the match against the Pointers.

Westbrock led a Blugold defense that allowed just one goal in three matches during the week and earned the WIAC regular season title for the second straight year. UW-Eau Claire clinched the conference crown outright with a 3-0 victory at UW-River Falls on Oct. 21. The Blugolds then upended St. Thomas (Minn.), 3-0, on Oct. 22 with Westbrock being credited with the first goal of the match and assisting on the third goal. UW-Eau Claire suffered just their second loss of the season earlier in the week in a 1-0 defeat at unbeaten and No. 23-ranked Macalester (Minn.) on Oct. 18. UW-Eau Claire had recorded 12 shutouts this season and allowed .42 goals per match.

John helped UW-Oshkosh to two wins during the week as she registered one goal and two assists. In a 2-0 victory over Concordia (Wis.) on Oct. 10, she assisted on the second goal of the match. Against UW-La Crosse on Oct. 14, John scored the match-tying goal and assisted on the final goal in the 4-1 triumph.

Halverson recorded two consecutive 1-0 shutouts, downing the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Oct. 11 and St. Catherine (Minn.) on Oct. 14. She turned back eight shots against St. Catherine and accumulated four saves against the Raiders. Halverson lowered her goals against average to 1.25 and improved her save percentage to .900 in the matches.

Peterson played a key role in two Falcon victories during the week, including
a 3-0 triumph over UW-Stout on Oct. 4 and a 3-2 decision over UW-Platteville
on Oct. 7. She recorded three goals and three assists in the two matches. Peterson
scored twice and added one assist against the Blue Devils and came back with
a goal and two assists against the Pioneers.

Neely helped UW-Whitewater to a pair of conference wins during the week as the
Warhawks ran their unbeaten streak to four matches. In a 1-0 victory against
UW-Platteville on Oct. 4, she was credited with seven saves in earning her first
shutout of the season. Neely added two more saves in a 3-1 triumph against UW-Stout
on Oct. 7.

After not playing for that last two weeks, Kooistra made a solid return to score
the winning goal in a 3-0 victory over UW-Stevens Point on September 30. She
received the ball from the midfielder and put the close range shot past the
Pointer goalkeeper. The goal proved to be the difference in the game and helped
the Blugolds beat the Pointers for the first time since 1991, a streak of 24
matches, a keep the Blugolds undefeated in conference play at 4-0.

Ofstedahl made one stop after another as UW-Eau Claire defeated UW-Stevens Point
3-0 on September 30. Her tenacious play would help the Blugolds hold the Pointers
to just four shots on goal in 90 minutes. The victory improved the Blugolds'
conference mark to 4-0 and ended a 24-match winless streak against the Pointers.

Peterson helped lead the Falcons to a pair of win during the week, including
a 4-1 win over UW-Superior on September 20 and a 7-0 triumph over St. Catherine
(Minn.) on September 23. Against the Yellowjackets, she scored the team's first
three goals; her second goal was unassisted and was the game-winner. Against
the Wildcats, Peterson tallied the team's first, third and sixth goals and also
picked up an assist on the fourth goal. Peterson currently leads the league
in scoring with 20 points on eight goals and four assists.

Huston led the UW-Platteville defense and helped the Pioneers break a collective
0-35 streak against UW-La Crosse and UW-Stevens Point. She led the Pioneers
to a 0-0 tie in La Crosse on September 20 and a 1-1 standoff in Stevens Point
on September 23. It was the first non-losses against those teams in Pioneer
history.

improved to 4-1-1 on the season. She tallied three goals and one assist in a
5-0 victory at Carroll on September 14. In a 5-0 win against Lawrence on September
16, Weise scored two goals to increase her league-leading total to seven.

Bera allowed just one goal and totaled 16 saves as UW-Oshkosh lost 1-0 to 25th-ranked
Wheaton (Ill.) on September 13 and posted a 1-0 victory over UW-Stout on September
16. Against the Thunder, she played all 90 minutes. She allowed one goal and
halted 14 shots, including 12 in the second half. Against the Blue Devils, she
counted two saves to register her first career shutout.

(Ill.) on September 10.

Smith keyed a Blugold defense that allowed just one goal during the week in
road victories over Millikin (Ill.) and Illinois Wesleyan. The Blugolds allowed
their first goal of the season against Illinois Wesleyan in the 86th minute
on a penalty kick in a 2-1 win on September 9. UW-Eau Claire allowed just two
shots in a 3-0 triumph over Millikin on September 8.

Larson helped UW-River Falls record a pair of shutouts in the Advantage Emblem
Cup hosted by St. Scholastica (Minn.). The Falcons opened the tournament with
a 0-0 double overtime tie against the host school and followed that with a 7-0
decision over Northland. Larson scored what proved to be the game-winning goal
against Northland from just inside the box off a corner kick.
