Swimming
Nick Peterson, Senior (Lake Elmo, Minn./North St. Paul), of UW-Eau Claire
Peterson won two individual events as UW-Eau Claire defeated UW-Oshkosh, 166-77, in a dual meet on Feb. 3. He claimed the 200-yard backstroke in 2:06.93 and the 400-yard individual medley in 4:33.38. His time in the 400-yard individual medley is the fastest on the team this season.

Diving
Jacob Chadderdon, Sophomore (Madison/West), of UW-Oshkosh
Chadderdon took first place in one diving event and second in another as UW-Oshkosh lost a 166-77 decision to UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 3. He won the three-meter diving with a score of 267.00 and finished second in the one-meter competition after registering a mark of 247.75.

Week of Jan. 22 - 28
Swimming
Karl Richters, Junior (Madison/Memorial), of UW-La Crosse
Richters won the 500-yard freestyle (4:53.30) and 1,000-yard freestyle (10:14.00) in UW-La Crosse’s 140-103 dual meet victory over UW-Stevens Point on Jan. 27. The loss snapped the Pointers’ 49 WIAC dual winning streak. Richters also placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.27).

Diving
Josh Brandt, Sophomore (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti), of UW-Stevens Point
Brandt captured a first-place finish in both diving events in a dual meet at UW-La Crosse on Jan. 27. He won the one-meter (201.70) and the three-meter (190.75).

Ben Gensler, Junior (Naperville, Ill./Benet Academy), of UW-Stevens Point
Gensler’s two first-place finishes led the Pointers at the Get to the Point Invite in Stevens Point on Jan. 19-20. He won the 100-yard breaststroke (59.77) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:08.43) – earning a NCAA “B” qualifying time in the 200-yard event. Gensler was also on the winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:37.44), the second-place 400-yard medley relay team and secured a fourth-place standing in the 200-yard individual medley.

Diving
Bryan Dykstra, Junior (Racine/Horlick), of UW-Eau Claire
In his first competition of the season, Dykstra won the one and three-meter diving events as the Blugolds defeated Macalester (Minn.), 190-33, on Jan. 19. He won the one-meter dive with a score of 271.10 and the three-meter with a mark of 275.35. Dykstra earned qualifying scores in both events for the NCAA Division III championship.

Week of Jan. 8 - 14
Swimming
Karl Richters, Junior (Madison/Memorial), of UW-La Crosse
Richters won the 400-yard individual medley (4:24.46) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:16.65) in UW-La Crosse’s 192-45 dual meet victory at UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 13. He was also a member of the Eagles’ 400-yard medley relay (3:43.75).

Matt Belken, Junior (Sun Prairie), of UW-La Crosse
Belken won the one-meter (180.20) and three-meter (183.50) diving competitions in UW-La Crosse’s 192-45 dual meet victory at UW-Oshkosh on Jan. 13.

Swimming
Kris Metje, Freshman (Cape Girardeau, Mo./Central), of UW-Eau Claire
Metje was the only individual winner for the Blugolds in a dual meet against UW-La Crosse on Dec. 9. He won the 500-yard freestyle (4:57.95) and 1,000-yard freestyle (10:20.00) to achieve the fastest times on the squad in those events this season. UW-La Crosse defeated UW-Eau Claire 152-90.

Brandt led the Pointers in a 213-28 dual meet win over UW-Oshkosh on Dec. 8 after capturing the one-meter (224.95) and three-meter (203.05) diving competitions.

Swimming
Ben Gensler, Junior (Naperville, Ill./Benet Academy), of UW-Stevens Point
Gensler led the Pointers at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational on Dec. 1-2. He won the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events in the NCAA Division III “B” cut times. Gensler won the 100-yard event in 58.54 and the 200-yard race in 2:05.28. He was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished runner-up with a time of 3:29.62.

Chadderdon dove to a pair of titles as UW-Oshkosh finished third in its own five-team invitational held Dec. 1-2 in Appleton. He won the three-meter diving event with a score of 436.95 and the one-meter diving with a mark of 365.40.

Week of Nov. 6 - 12
Swimming
Chase Gross, Sophomore (Edina, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Gross led the Pointers to a victory over NCAA Division II opponents South Dakota and Minnesota State at the inaugural “Border Battle” event in Stevens Point. He won two individual events and was a member of four winning relay teams. Gross swam to victory in the 50-yard freestyle (21.22) and 200-yard freestyle (1:44.41) and was part of the winning 200, 400 and 800-yard freestyle relays and the 400-yard medley relay. He also took third in the 100-yard freestyle (47.83).

Diving
Jacob Chadderon, Sophomore (Madison/West), of UW-Oshkosh
Chadderdon finished second in both the one and three-meter diving events at the Chicago (Ill.) Invitational. He compiled a scored of 404.40 in the three-meter diving to surpass the provisional qualifying standard for the NCAA Division III Championship. In the one-meter diving, Chadderdon totaled a score of 401.90.

Swimming
Tony Wolf, Freshman (Cottage Grove, Minn./Rosemount), of UW-La Crosse
Wolf won the 100-yard butterfly (54.78), while finishing second in the 50-yard freestyle (22.41) and 100-yard freestyle (49.14) at the Northfield Classic at St. Olaf (Minn.) on Nov. 4.

Week of Oct. 23 - 29
Swimming
Chase Gross, Sophomore (Edina, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Gross helped the Pointers defeat UW-Eau Claire 168-73 on Oct. 27 by winning the 50-yard freestyle (21.34) and the 100-yard freestyle (47.13). Against NCAA Division II foe St. Cloud State (Minn.) on Oct. 28, he won the 100-yard freestyle (46.89), the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.45) and anchored the winning 200-yard freestyle relay (1:26.65). The Pointers fell to the Huskies in a highly contested dual meet 135-108.
