Week of Jan. 31 - Feb. 6
Swimming
Alex Anderson, Junior (La Crosse/Central), of UW-Stevens Point
Anderson earned a new pool record and a pair of NCAA Championship qualifying "B-cut" times in the Pointers' dual meet victory at Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on February 5. He broke the Lund Center record in the 200-yard breaststroke winning in 2:08.82 and then earned a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA's in claiming the 50-yard freestyle in 21.09. Anderson also swam on two relays, winning the event in the 200-yard medley relay, and earning a "B-cut" qualifying time in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Diving
Chad Pettis, Junior (Eau Claire/Memorial), of UW-Stevens Point
Pettis continued his winning ways with a double victory in a dual meet with Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on February 5. He claimed the one-meter event with a score of 270.90 and followed it with a score of 242.40 in the three-meter dive.

Week of Jan. 24 - 30
Swimming
Ben Gensler, Freshman (Naperville, Ill./Benet Academy), of UW-Stevens Point
Gensler broke a 10-year old Mitchell Hall record in the Pointers' dual meet with UW-La Crosse on January 28. He swam the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:07.79, smashing the previous record set by UW-Eau Claire's Scott Harma in 1995, by nearly two full seconds. Gensler's time eclipsed the NCAA "B" cut qualifying standard for the national meet. He also placed third in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:01.16.

Scott Heatwole, Junior (Port Washington), of UW-Eau Claire
Heatwole had wins in both diving events against Hamline (Minn.) on January 29 and took second in both events against UW-Whitewater on January 30. He posted a national qualifying score of 283.60 on the one-meter board against Hamline, while also winning the three-meter event with a 253.70.

Week of Jan. 17 - 23
Swimming
Alex Anderson, Junior (La Crosse/Central), of UW-Stevens Point
Anderson was a triple winner as the Pointers claimed the championship of the Get to the Point Invitational. He won the 200-yard breaststroke on Friday, breezing past the field in 2:10.89. On Saturday, Anderson claimed the 100-yard breaststroke in 59 seconds flat, and then took first place honors in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.43.

Scott Heatwole, Junior (Port Washington), of UW-Eau Claire
Heatwole posted a national qualifying score in the one-meter diving event in a dual meet victory over UW-River Falls on January 21. He took first place in the event with a score of 265.60 and followed it up with a third-place finish on the three-meter board the next day at the Get to the Point Invitational.

Week of Jan. 10 - 16
Swimming
David Dettmann, Senior (Madison/Memorial), of UW-La Crosse
Dettmann won two individual events and was a member of two winning relays in UW-La Crosse's 142-87 dual victory at UW-Oshkosh on January 15. He won the 50-yard freestyle (22.68) and 100-yard breaststroke (59.14), while being a member of the Eagles' winning 200-yard medley (1:39.94) and 200-yard freestyle (1:32.01) relays.

Diving
Chad Pettis, Junior (Eau Claire/Memorial), of UW-Stevens Point
Pettis claimed both the one-meter and three-meter events at the UW-Oshkosh Diving Invitational on January 16. He easily claimed the three-meter crown, scoring 394.75 points. He finished more than 71 points ahead of the second-place diver. In the one-meter event, Pettis totaled 384.15 points to edge teammate Jack Riley by slightly less than 12 points.

Week of Dec. 6 - 12
Swimming
Josh Mork, Senior (Monticello, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Mork won the 200-yard individual medley (2:04.51) and 200-yard butterfly (2:03.26) in UW-La Crosse's dual victory over UW-Eau Claire on December 11.

Diving
Scott Heatwole, Junior (Port Washington), of UW-Eau Claire
Heatwole won the one-meter dive, while finishing second in the three-meter event in a dual meet against UW-La Crosse on December 11. Heatwole won the one-meter with a score of 247.00, while posting a 254.15 in the three-meter. Both scores were season highs for him.

Week of Nov. 29 - Dec. 5
Swimming
Alex Anderson, Junior (La Crosse/Central), of UW-Stevens Point
Anderson achieved a NCAA championship automatic qualifying "A-cut" time in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. He swam 56.58 in the preliminaries, before winning the event with a 58.37 in the finals. Anderson also achieved the provisional "B-cut" standard by placing second in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:07.61. He was on four relay teams for the Pointers which all notched "B-cut" qualifying times. The 200-medley, 400-medley and 400-freestyle relay teams all placed second, while the 400-freestyle relay team finished fourth.

Alex Anderson, Junior (La Crosse/Central), of UW-Stevens Point
Anderson won two individual events and picked up a pair of victories on relay teams in the Pointers' 191-109 win over NCAA Division II St. Cloud State (Minn.). He claimed both breaststroke events, winning the 100 in 59.01, and claiming the 200-yard event in 2:10.58. Anderson also swam on the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team and the first place 400-yard medley relay.

Chad Goetsch, Senior (Plymouth), of UW-River Falls
Goetsch won two individual races in the team's dual meet with UW-Whitewater on November 5. He won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:11.25 and the 500-yard freestyle in 5:27.02. Goetsch also placed second in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:18.53. He was a member of the Falcon 400-yard freestyle relay team that placed first in 3:38.87.

Swimming
Nicholas Teo, Sophomore (Singapore), of UW-Stevens Point
Teo won both distance events in the Pointers' dual meet victory over UW-Eau Claire on October 29. He won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:29.18 and then claimed the 500-yard freestyle in 5:02.23. The Pointers have won 43 consecutive conference dual meets.

Dykstra won the three-meter diving event and also took third place on the one-meter board in a dual meet against UW-Stevens Point on October 29. He scored a 203.05 on the three-meter, while posting a mark of 223.25 in the one-meter competition.
