Week of Feb. 4 - 10
Swimming
Mike Moran, Senior (Brown Deer), of UW-Oshkosh
Moran won three events in the Titans' dual meet against Eau Claire. He won the
100 breaststroke with a time of 58.19. The time established a school record
and also was a 'B' cut qualifying time for the NCAA Division III Championship.
Moran also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:10.09 and the 500 freestyle in 5:06.91.

Diving
Chris Hansman, Sophomore (Neenah), of UW-Oshkosh
Hansman won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a dual meet
against Eau Claire. He won the one-meter with a score of 271.75, which qualified
him for the NCAA Division III Championship. He won the three-meter event with
a score of 292.45.

Week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3
Swimming
Matt Oglesby, Senior (Lake Geneva/Big Foot), of UW-Eau Claire
Oglesby won two individual events and helped the 200 medley relay team to a
victory in a dual meet against Whitewater. He achieved a B cut time in winning
the 100 backstroke in 52.59 seconds, which was more than six seconds better
than the second place effort of 58.80 seconds. Oglesby also won the 200 freestyle
in 1:45.97.

Justin Steele, Sophomore (Hastings, Minn.), of UW-La Crosse
Steele won the one and three-meter competition in a dual meet at Stevens Point.
He won the one-meter with 175.00 points and the three-meter with 185.25 points.

Week of Jan. 21 - 27
Swimming
Erik Johnson, Sophomore (Albert Lea, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
The Pointers won five events as they hosted the 10-team Get To The Point Invitational
and Johnson had a part in all five. He won the 100-yard freestyle in 47.86 and
the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:43.51. He also took part in three first
place relays, the 200-yard freestyle relay, the 400-yard freestyle relay and
the 800-yard freestyle relay.

Swimming
Michael Devitt, Senior (Middleton), of UW-La Crosse
Devitt won two events in La Crosse’s 109-101 dual victory over Oshkosh. He won
the 100 freestyle at 49.48 and the 200 freestyle at 1:48.40. Both times were
season-bests for the Eagles.

Diving
Chris Hansman, Sophomore (Neenah), of UW-Oshkosh
Hansman won four diving events over the weekend. In a double dual against Carthage
and Lawrence, he won the one-meter and three-meter with scores of 280.00 and
287.85, respectively. The Titans won both dual meets. Against La Crosse Saturday,
he won the one-meter event with a score of 255.75 and the three-meter event
with a 258.35.

Swimming
Chris Smith, Senior (Fort Atkinson), of UW-Eau Claire
Smith won the 200-yard individual medley by 5/100ths of a second in 2:04.48
and placed second in the 200 backstroke with a 2:07.64 clocking in a dual meet
against St. Olaf (Minn.). Both times just short of a season best in those events.
He also swam on the Blugolds’ 400 medley relay team which was second in 3:47.52.

Swimming
Anthony Harris, Senior (St. Paul, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Harris won two individual events and swam on a winning relay team to lead the
Pointers to a fourth-place finish at the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational. He won
the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 50.47, surpassing the NCAA Division III
“B” cut qualifying time. Harris also claimed the 200-yard butterfly in 1:57.33.
He was also a member of the 800-yard freestyle relay team, which took first
place with a time of 7:01.73.

Dan VonFeldt, Junior (Lancaster), of UW-Eau Claire
VonFeldt won both the one and three-meter diving events in a dual meet with
La Crosse. He scored a 230.80 on the one-meter board and 207.70 on the three-meter
board. His previous top effort on the one-meter board was a 184.00.

Matt Oglesby, Senior (Lake Geneva/Big Foot), of UW-Eau Claire
Oglesby helped the Blugold men win the four-team Titan Invitational with individual
wins in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 backstroke. His 100 back time
of 52.21 was a national B cut qualifying time. He won the 100 fly by more than
2.5 seconds in 52.33, the 100 back by more than 3.5 seconds in 52.21 and the
200 back by more than 4.4 seconds in 1:59.21. He also swam on four winning relays.

David Bahr, Senior (Sheboygan/South), of UW-Oshkosh
Bahr won the one-meter diving and placed second in the three-meter diving as
Oshkosh placed third in its own four-team invitational held November 30 and
December 1. Bahr won the one-meter diving with a score of 381.50 points and
placed second in the three-meter diving with a count of 427.75.

Moran won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:04.32 and the 200 breaststroke
with a time of 2:16.84 in the Titans’ dual meet against Whitewater.

Hansman won both the one-meter and three-meter diving events in a dual meet
against Whitewater. He won the one-meter with a score of 256.25 and the three-meter
with a tally of 256.75.

Matt Oglesby, Senior (Lake Geneva/Big Foot), of UW-Eau Claire
Oglesby achieved a B cut qualifying time in the 100 backstroke with a 52.82
leadoff in the 400 medley relay which the Blugolds won with a 3:37.96 clocking,
less than a second ahead of Stevens Point whom they have not beaten in that
event for many years. He also won the 50 freestyle in 22.17 and took second
in the 200 butterfly in 2:00.29.

VonFeldt won the three-meter diving event with a 224.65 score compared to the
197.95 total of teammate and runner-up Scott Heatwole. He also placed second
on the one-meter board with a 184.00.

Peter Nowak, Sophomore (New Berlin), of UW-Stevens Point
Nowak won two individual events as the Pointers routed Oshkosh in a dual meet,
142-93. He won the 1000-meter freestyle in 10:49.51 and the 500-meter freestyle
in 5:09.55.

Bahr won the three-meter dive with a score of 255.65 in a dual meet against
Stevens Point. He also placed second in the one-meter dive with a score of 248.3.

Swimming
Mike Moran, Senior (Brown Deer), of UW-Oshkosh
In a 69-29 dual meet win over River Falls, Moran took first in three events.
He won the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:05.02, the 100 butterfly with
a time of 55.56 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.59.
