Mueller won the 10,000-meter run at the Drake Relays with a NCAA Division III
automatic qualifying time of 30:11.65. His time ranks sixth in the NCAA Division
III this season.

Dan Hytinen, Freshman (South Milwaukee), of UW-Whitewater
Hytinen was the top collegiate finisher in the discus at the Loras (Iowa) Open
on April 30. He finished third overall with a toss of 162-10 (49.64 m) and also
placed eighth in the shot put. Hytinen's performance in the discus provisionally
qualified him for the NCAA Division III Championship and ranks in the top 10
in the NCAA Division III this season.

Jon Otte, Sophomore (Plymouth), of UW-Whitewater
Otte placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.83 at the Meet of
Champions on April 23 in Rock Island, Ill. His time provisionally qualified
him for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Kevin Deering, Senior (Mukwonago), of UW-Oshkosh
Deering won the decathlon with 6,973 points as UW-Oshkosh finished second in
the nine-team Meet of Champions held April 23 in Rock Island, Ill. His performance,
which established meet, school and venue records, surpassed the automatic qualifying
standard for the NCAA Division III Championships. Deering's decathlon score
ranks third in the NCAA Division III this season.

Olson won the 400-meter dash at the Blugold Open on April 16 with a NCAA Division
III automatic qualifying time of 47.18.

Nate Olson, Junior (Stevens Point/SPASH), of UW-La Crosse
Olson won the 200-meter dash at the Wartburg (Iowa) Select Meet with a NCAA
Division III automatic qualifying time of 20.99. His time is the best in Division
III this season and the third-fastest time in school history. Olson's time was
also a meet and stadium record.

Stanley won the long jump at the Wartburg (Iowa) Select Meet on April 9. He
captured the event with a provisional qualifying distance of 23-8 (7.21 meters),
which is the top mark in NCAA Division III this season.

Mueller was second in the 10,000-meter run at the North Central (Ill.) Quadrangular
on April 2. He finished with a provisional qualifying time of 31:10.09.

Brandon Houle, Sophomore (Oshkosh/North), of UW-Oshkosh
Houle won two events and finished fourth in another to lead UW-Oshkosh to a
second-place finish at the North Central (Ill.) Quadrangular on April 2. He
won the shot put with a toss of 57-4 1/2 and the discus with a mark of 162-5.
Houle placed fourth in the hammer throw with a fling of 168-8 1/4. His performance
in the shot put surpassed the automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Division
III Championships.
