Week of Oct. 15 - 21
Steve Tingum, Sophomore (Alexander, Minn.), of UW-Stevens Point
Tingum won the individual title and led the Pointers to a dual meet victory over Oshkosh Friday. He covered the course in 27:08 for the victory.

Week of Oct. 8 - 14
Jon Peterson, Senior (Schofield/D.C. Everest), of UW-Oshkosh
Peterson was the second-best WIAC finisher at the Jim Drews Invitational October 13. He placed tenth overall with time of 25:38.9. Peterson helped the Titans to a third-place finish out of 33 teams. Oshkosh entered the meet as the second-ranked team in the NCAA Division III.

Week of Oct. 1 - 7
Wes Shaughnessy, Senior (Verona), of UW-Oshkosh
Shaughnessy led Oshkosh, the third-ranked team in the NCAA Division III, to a ninth-place finish in the Blue Division of the Notre Dame (Ind.) Invitational on October 5. Shaughnessy finished 34th individually with a time of 25:21 on the 8,000-meter course, with his finish and time placing him in the top five in all but two of the 18 teams that competed in the event. Oshkosh scored 254 points in the meet, finishing ahead of Truman University and Edinboro University, the seventh and eighth-ranked teams in the NCAA Division II.

Week of Sept. 24 - 30
Tyler Foos, Senior (Durand), of UW-La Crosse
Foos helped lead UW-La Crosse to the team title of the Roy Griak Invitational Maroon Race on Saturday. A total of 41 teams and 364 runners competed in the meet. Foos was fourth overall with a time of 25:19.0 in the 8k race.

Erik Olson, Sophomore (Phillips), of UW-Superior
Olson ran to a second-place finish at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational with a time of 26:33. Nearly 170 runners competed in the race, which took place in a downpour of rain.

Week of Sept. 10 - 16
Tyler Foos, Senior (Durand), of UW-La Crosse
Foos finished fourth overall and led UW-La Crosse to the team title at the Midwest Collegiate Meet at UW-Parkside. He ran the 8k course in 25:23 to finish fourth overall out of 350 runners. The Eagles won the 28-team championship with 74 points.

Week of Sept. 3 - 9
James Larson, Senior (Brooklyn Center, Minn./Park Center), of UW-Eau Claire
Larson was the second collegiate finisher out of 114 runners in the UM-Duluth Invitational, covering the 8,000-meter course in 26:45.0. This compared to the winning time of 26:22.7 by Duluth’s Brett Carroll. Eau Claire tied Duluth for first place in the ten-team meet.
