Week of Feb. 18 - 24
Myles McKayMyles McKay, Junior (Milwaukee/Menomonee Falls), Guard of UW-Whitewater
McKay helped lead UW-Whitewater to its second conference championship in the last three seasons with wins over No.-20 ranked UW-Oshkosh and UW-River Falls.  In a 66-51 victory over the Titans, he scored a career-high and game-high 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field and grabbed eight rebounds, seized four steals and dished out three assists.  In an 80-75 triumph over the Falcons, McKay was second on the team with 17 points, including eight-of-10 from the free throw line, and had five rebounds, three assists and one steal.

Week of Feb. 11 - 17
Jake SmithJake Smith, Freshman (Rhinelander), Forward of UW-Superior
Smith averaged 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a pair of games during the week, including a 70-59 triumph over No. 16-ranked UW-Platteville.  Against the Pioneers, he poured in a game-high 23 points on eight-of-12 shooting from the field and grabbed a game-best seven rebounds, while also distributing three assists.   Earlier in the week at UW-Stout, he scored a team-high 22 points and hauled in 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.  Smith’s totals for the week included 17-of-25 shooting from the field and 10-of-11 from the free throw line.

Week of Feb. 4 - 10
Matt GoodwinMatt Goodwin, Junior (Milwaukee/Rufus King), Guard of UW-Whitewater
Goodwin led UW-Whitewater to a pair of victories during the week.  In an 83-61 victory at UW-Stout on February 9, he poured in a team season-high 33 points, including a conference season-best eight three-point field goals.  In the game, he was 12-of-18 from the field, including 8-of-13 on three-point field goal attempts.  Goodwin also grabbed six rebounds and had four assists and two steals.  Earlier in the week, he chipped in 16 points in a 68-55 triumph at Luther College (Iowa) after converting seven-of-10 field goal attempts and both of his three-point tries.  In the two games, Goodwin shot 19-of-28 (67.9 percent) from the field and 10-of-15 (66.7 percent) from the three-point arc.

Week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3
Jeff SkempJeff Skemp, Junior (Hazel Green/Southwestern), Center of UW-Platteville
Skemp totaled 26 points and 26 rebounds while leading UW-Platteville to a 2-0 record and a share of first place in the WIAC standings.  Skemp had eight points, 13 rebounds, four blocked shots, two assists and a steal in a 71-55 win over No. 20-ranked UW-Oshkosh on January 31.  He came back with 18 points and 13 rebounds--his 10th career double-double-- in a 71-60 victory at UW-River Falls on February 2. The 13 rebounds in each game were his career bests.

Week of Jan. 21 - 27
Brandon BrownBrandon Brown, Junior (Milwaukee/Dominican), Guard of UW-La Crosse
Brown averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.5 steals and 2.5 rebounds in two UW-La Crosse wins last week. He tied his career-high with 19 points in a 76-61 victory over UW-River Falls, while also recording eight assists, five rebounds and four steals.  Brown then registered 14 points in a 72-65 win at UW-Eau Claire, adding three steals and one assist.  He was 13-of-22 (59.1 percent) from the field and seven-of-11 (63.6 percent) at the free throw line in the two contests.

Week of Jan. 14 - 20
Geoff ProbstGeoff Probst, Sophomore (Moose Lake, Minn.), Forward of UW-Eau Claire
Probst played all but one minute in two games and scored 39 points to lead the Blugolds to a pair of conference triumphs, including a 57-54 decision over No.-16 ranked UW-Oshkosh.  He scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Blugolds snapped a six-game losing streak against the Titans.  Probst came back with 26 points in a four-point road win at UW-River Falls, just two shy of the career-high 28 he totaled against Marian College (Wis.) three weeks ago.  For the week, Probst was 14-of-25 from the field (56.0 percent) including four-of-seven from beyond the arc.  He also nailed all seven his free throw attempts.  In addition, he pulled 13 rebounds, dished off five assists, picked up four steals and blocked one shot.

Week of Jan. 7 - 13

Goodwin led UW-Whitewater to a pair of road victories during the week and move into a tie for first place in the league standings.   In a 65-62 victory at UW-La Crosse on January 9, he drilled the game-winning three-point basket with one second remaining in the game and finished with a game-high 21 points.  Goodwin played all 40 minutes in the contest and added six rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot.  In a 69-63 triumph at UW-Eau Claire on January 12, Goodwin scored a team-best 23 points and hauled in five rebounds in 34 minutes of playing time.  He also converted 11-of-12 free throw attempts in the game.  His totals for the week included 16-of-18 shooting from the free throw line.

Week of Dec. 31 - Jan. 6
Matt MillerMatt Miller, Junior (Hudson), Guard of UW-Oshkosh
Miller scored 34 of his 42 points in the first half to lead UW-Oshkosh to victories of 82-58 over Finlandia University (Mich.) on January 2 and 73-62 over third-ranked UW-Stevens Point on January 5.  He made 15 of his 23 field goal attempts in the two games, including 10-of-15 shots behind the three-point line.  Miller also made both of his free throws, collected two rebounds, dished off two assists and recorded two steals.  In UW-Oshkosh’s win over Finlandia University, Miller scored 20 of his game-high 23 points in the first half.  Miller’s first-half performance included four-of-six shooting behind the three-point line.  In the Titans’ victory over UW-Stevens Point, Miller counted 14 of his 19 points in the opening period.  His first-half effort included five-of-five shooting from the field, including four-of-four behind the three-point arc.

Week of Dec. 17 - 30
Pete RortvedtPete Rortvedt, Junior (Minocqua/Lakeland), Forward of UW-Stevens Point
Rortvedt tallied a team-high 15 points in UW-Stevens Point’s 73-63 triumph at No. 5-ranked Augustana College (Ill.) on Dec. 22.  He came off the bench and connected on five three-pointers in 19 minutes of playing time.  Rortvedt also contributed three rebounds and one steal in the game.

Week of Dec. 10 - 16
Jeff SkempJeff Skemp, Junior (Hazel Green/Southwestern), Center of UW-Platteville
Skemp shot 88.2 percent from the field in leading the Pioneers to an 82-50 victory at the University of Dubuque (Iowa) and a 65-50 win over Clarke College (Iowa). He was eight-for-nine against the Spartans and seven-for-eight vs. the Crusaders.  Skemp had a game-high 17 points and eight rebounds against the Crusaders.  In the two games, he totaled 33 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and five blocked shots in 50 minutes played, helping the Pioneers improve to 7-2 on the season.

Week of Dec. 3 - 9

Seckar-Anderson averaged 21.0 points and seven rebounds per contest as UW-Oshkosh remained unbeaten by posting victories of 80-74 over sixth-ranked UW-Whitewater on Dec. 5 and 81-61 over UW-Stout on Dec. 8.  He totaled 42 points on 17-of-25 shooting (68 percent) from the field and eight-of-nine shooting (88.9 percent) from the free-throw line.  He also collected 14 rebounds, dished off eight assists, blocked three shots and recorded three steals.  In UW-Oshkosh’s win over UW-Whitewater, Seckar-Anderson scored 22 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished off five assists.  He made 10 of his 15 shots from the field and two of his three tosses from the free-throw line.  In UW-Oshkosh’s victory over UW-Stout, Seckar-Anderson tallied a game-high 20 points, snatched five rebounds and dished off three assists.  He made seven of his 10 shots from the field and all six of his free throws.  UW-Oshkosh has won all seven of its games this season for its best start since the 1997-98 campaign.

Week of Nov. 26 - Dec. 2
Rob PerryRob Perry, Senior (Milwaukee/Dominican), Forward of UW-Whitewater
Perry helped UW-Whitewater to a 83-77 win over No. 2-ranked UW-Stevens Point on Dec. 1 in Kachel Gymnasium.  He had a game-high 23 points on eight-of-10 shooting from the field and seven-of-eight from the free throw line.  Perry also contributed a game-high eight rebounds to go along with one assist and one steal in 31 minutes of playing time.  UW-Whitewater improved to 4-0 on the season for the first time since the 2004-05 campaign with the victory.

Week of Nov. 19 - 25

Marsh averaged 20 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game to lead UW-Oshkosh to a perfect 3-0 week.  Playing a total of 100 minutes in the three games, Marsh shot 53.8 percent (21-for-39) from the field and 94.4 percent (17-for-18) from the free-throw line.  His performance also included six steals and one blocked shot.  In a 78-68 win over St. Norbert College on Nov. 21, Marsh scored a career-high 27 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished off four assists.  In a 91-70 victory over Finlandia University (Mich.) on Nov. 23, Marsh scored 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished off three assists.  In a 68-54 triumph over Hamline University (Minn.) on Nov. 24, Marsh scored 22 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished off three assists.

Week of Nov. 12 - 18
Miles WebbMiles Webb, Senior (Brooklyn Center, Minn./Park Center), Guard of UW-Stout
Webb scored 52 points over two games as UW-Stout won their own tip-off tournament, defeating Finlandia University (Mich.), 93-89, in overtime in the opener and Viterbo University, 81-63, in the championship game. Webb tallied 32 points against Finlandia, the most points by a UW-Stout player since 2003, and added a game-high 11 rebounds.  He sealed the Finlandia game with two free throws in the final seconds of play.  Against Viterbo, Webb led the Blue Devils with 20 points.
