Jacob Nonemacher, Junior (Kalispell,

After suffering a slight injury in the first half, Nonemacher scored 11 points
in the second half to help UW-Stout to a 71-68 comeback win over UW-La Crosse
on February 18 and earn the second seed for the WIAC Tournament. He finished
the day with 21 points on 10-for-16 shooting from the field. Nonemacher also
grabbed 12 rebounds and had two blocked shots and one assist. UW-Stout finished
the conference slate with a 12-4 mark for its best finish since the 1974-75
season.

Jeremy Manchester, Senior (Racine/St.

Manchester helped UW-Whitewater to a pair of conference victories and sole possession
of first place in the league standings during the week. In a 79-64 victory at
UW-Stevens Point on February 8, he poured in a game-high 25 points on six-of-14
shooting, including three-of-five from the three-point line and 10-of-10 from
the free throw line. He also added five assists, four rebounds and one blocked
shots. The defeat was the largest home loss for the Pointers since February
22, 1995. In an 81-56 win over UW-River Falls on February 11, Manchester scored
11 points and added four assists, two rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes
of playing time.

Nonemacher led UW-Stout to two conference wins and sole possession of first
place in the WIAC during the week. He recorded a game-high 23 points and 13
rebounds in an 80-61 victory over No. 24-ranked UW-Oshkosh on February 4. Nonemacher
also had 15 points and 11 rebounds in a 63-49 win over UW-River Falls on February
1. On the week, he scored 38 points (19.0/game), had 24 rebounds (12.0/game),
shot 17-of-26 (65.4 percent) from the floor, four-of-seven from the free throw
line and had four assists and four blocked shots.

Hoeg helped lead UW-River Falls to a pair of WIAC victories during the week,
including a win against league-leading and No. 21-ranked UW-Oshkosh. In a 75-60
triumph over UW-Superior on January 25, he poured in a career-high 31 points
on 10-of-18 shooting from the field, including five-of-seven from the three-point
line. He also added a team-high nine rebounds in the contest. Against the Titans
on January 28, Hoeg scored a team-high 21 points. In the two games, he was 17-of-30
(56.6 percent) from the field, including nine-of-13 (69.2 percent) from the
three-point line and nine-of-11 (81.8 percent) from the free-throw line. He
also grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out three assists and recorded two steals in
71 minutes of playing time.

Conigliaro averaged 16.5 points in two UW-La Crosse victories during the week.
He had 11 points and four rebounds in a 57-55 win over UW-River Falls on January
18 and then finished with a career-high 22 points in a 73-61 victory over UW-Eau
Claire on January 21. In the two games, Conigliaro was 12-for-18 (66.7 percent)
from the field, including seven-for-nine (77.8 percent) from three-point range,
and added seven rebounds, two steals and one assist.

Crawford averaged 23.5 points in a pair of WIAC games, helping the Pioneers
gain a split. He made 17-of-24 shots from the field (70.8 percent) and 13-of-16
from the free throw line (81.3 percent). Crawford also averaged 7.5 rebounds
and 3.5 steals during the games. He scored 24 points against No. 23-ranked UW-Whitewater
on January 11 and 23 points against UW-Eau Claire on January 14.

Werner had 17 points and six rebounds in UW-La Crosse's 61-49 victory at No.
10-ranked UW-Stout on January 4. He was seven-of-eight from the field and three-of-four
at the free throw line. Werner also finished with six points and a game-high
10 rebounds in 12 minutes of playing time in the Eagles' 88-54 win at Northland
on January 3.

Jahnke averaged 20.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game to lead UW-Oshkosh to
a 2-1 record on the week. Jahnke shot 47.5 percent (19-40) from the field in
three games, including 48.1 percent (13-27) behind the three-point line. He
also made 10 of his 13 free throw attempts for 76.9 percent accuracy. In UW-Oshkosh's
75-63 win over Aurora (Ill.) on December 21, Jahnke scored a season-high 27
points, including seven three-point baskets. He also grabbed three rebounds
and dished off two assists. In UW-Oshkosh's 65-57 loss to 14th-ranked Wartburg
(Iowa) on December 22, Jahnke scored 12 points, grabbed one rebound and dished
off one assist. He had two three-point baskets in the game. In UW-Oshkosh's
72-52 victory over Edgewood on December 31, Jahnke scored 22 points, including
four three-point baskets. He also collected three rebounds and dished off three
assists.

Gibson totaled 41 points, 15 rebounds, 10 blocked shots and three assists as
UW-Oshkosh posted victories over Carroll (Wis.) and Haskell Indian Nations (Kan.).
In UW-Oshkosh's 70-69 win over previously undefeated Carroll on December 17,
Gibson scored 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field and three-of-seven
shooting from the free throw line. He also grabbed nine rebounds, blocked six
shots and dished off two assists during his 33 minutes of playing time. In UW-Oshkosh's
76-55 win over NAIA Division II Haskell Indian Nations on December 18, Gibson
counted 18 points on four-of-six shooting from the field and 10-of-13 shooting
from the free throw line. He also collected six rebounds and blocked four shots
in 21 minutes of action.

Werner averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks while shooting 18-of-24
(75.0 percent) from the field in two games. He had a season-high 24 points along
with eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists in a 79-68 victory at UW-Platteville
on December 7. Werner was 10-of-14 from the field and four-of-four at the free
throw line. He finished with 17 points on eight-of-10 shooting from field and
added seven rebounds, three blocks and three assists in a 71-55 loss to UW-Stevens
Point on December 10.

Stangl helped UW-Stout to a 56-50 home victory over UW-Platteville on December
3. He went a perfect 10-of-10 from the line in the game, including making all
eight attempts in the final 30 seconds of the contest to hold off the Pioneers.
Stangl finished the game with a team-high 17 points and added three rebounds,
three steals and one assist. In UW-Stout's 72-35 win at UW-Eau Claire on November
30, Stangl scored 13 points with two rebounds and two steals. On the week, he
scored 30 points on eight-of-15 shooting from the field, including four-of-eight
from behind the three-point line.

Owen averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 rebounds, while shooting 73.7 percent (14-of-19)
from the field in three road victories during the week. He scored a team-high
16 points with four rebounds in a 73-63 win at Viterbo on November 22; nine
points and five rebounds in a 78-67 victory at Lakeland on November 25 and a
team-high 15 points and five rebounds in a 81-68 win at Ripon on November 26.
UW-La Crosse improved to 5-0 for the first time since 1996-97 with the three
victories.

Cobb was named the Tournament MVP at the Wells Fargo Shootout in Duluth, Minn.
after leading the Yellowjackets to a pair of one-point victories. In a 74-73
win over Martin Luther (Minn.), he scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Cobb followed that performance with a 17-point, seven-rebound effort against
rival St. Scholastica (Minn.) in a 62-61 victory.
