Week of March 7 - 13
Caitlin Goodin, Sophomore (Steilacoom, Wash./Life Christian
Academy), of Hamline University
Goodin had the team's highest score in four of the seven events she competed
in during the weekend at Alaska-Anchorage. In Friday's dual meet against the
Seawolves, Goodin scored a 9.600 on the balance beam to tie for first place
and a 9.225 on the vault. She finished the all-around competition in third-place
with a score of 35.750. In Saturday's dual meet against the Seawolves, Goodin
led the Pipers in the beam and vault, scoring a 9.200 and 9.350, respectively.
She also added a 9.375 performance on the floor exercise.

Week of Feb. 28 - March 6
Alison Eagles, Senior (Shoreview, Minn./Mounds
View), of UW-Eau Claire
Eagles claimed first place in the all-around (36.800) and vault (9.350) at the
Hamline (Minn.) Invitational on March 4. She also placed second in the floor
exercise (9.300), sixth in the parallel bars (9.00) and eighth in the balance
beam (9.150) to help UW-Eau Claire finish second at the four-team invitational.

Jenna Houle, Junior (Forest Lake, Minn.),
of UW-La Crosse
Houle won the balance beam with a school record score of 9.875 in UW-La Crosse's
dual meet at NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State on February 26. She also
tied for first on the floor exercise (9.800), while placing fifth on the vault
(9.600).

Vanessa Virbitsky, Freshman (Harrisburg,
Pa./Central Dauphin), of UW-Oshkosh
Virbistsky helped UW-Oshkosh record the highest five-score total in school history
with a mark of 187.950 at a triangular meet hosted by Bowling Green State (Ohio)
on February 18. She recorded scores of 38.050 in the all-around, 9.650 on the
vault, 9.650 on the uneven bars, 9.600 on the floor exercise and 9.150 on the
balance beam. Her score in the all-around in the best in the WIAC this season,
while her marks in the vault and uneven bars are tied for the best in the league.

Rhian Paulson, Junior (Stillwater,
Minn.), of UW-Stout
Paulson had four first-place finishes and threatened her own school record on
the floor exercise as the Blue Devils scored their highest team score of the
season in finishing second in a triangular with UW-Oshkosh and UW-Whitewater
on February 11. She scored a personal best in the all-around, tallying a 36.60,
the third highest score in UW-Stout history. Along the way, Paulson took firsts
in the vault (9.200), uneven bars (9.125) and came up just short of her own
school record on the floor with 9.725, the highest mark in the event this season
in the WIAC and West Region. She set the school record of 9.80 last season.

Schubert won the uneven bars at the Gershon/McLellan Invitational for the second
straight year with a score of 9.650. Her score is the best in the conference
this season.

Clausen finished second in the all-around (37.100) in UW-La Crosse's victory
over UW-Eau Claire and UW-Whitewater on January 29. She was also second on the
balance beam (9.625) and tied for second on the vault (9.200) and floor exercise
(9.600).

Houle won the floor exercise (9.550) and finished third on the vault (9.200)
in UW-La Crosse's 179.900-172.900 dual victory over UW-Oshkosh on January 21.

Week of Jan. 10 - 16
Rhian Paulson, Junior (Stillwater),
of UW-Stout
Paulson captured first place in the floor exercise (9.375), and also took first
in the all-around (36.225), only .55 points short of the school record, as UW-Stout
finished second at the UW-Eau Claire Wild West Invitational on January 15. Paulson
was fourth on the balance beam (8.925), second on the vault (9.100) and third
on the uneven bars (8.850). She increased her all-around score 1.125 points
over her previous outing.

Eagles started off the year strong, claiming three titles in a meet at UW-Oshkosh
on January 7. She claimed the all-around (36.700), vault (9.325) and balance
beam (9.375) competitions as the Blugolds won the three team meet with a 176.900.
