Week of Sept. 27 - Oct. 3
Ahna Hendrickson, Junior (Lodi), of
UW-Platteville
Hendrickson may have played the best round golf in UW-Platteville history at
the UW-Oshkosh Invitational held October 2-3 at Whispering Springs Golf Course
in Fond du Lac. She shot a 75 in windy conditions during a second round in which
no one else broke 80. Hendrickson totaled 162 during the 36-hole competition
to place second overall and led the Pioneers to a third-place finish among eight
schools.

Week of Sept. 20 - 26
Jesse Thompson, Sophomore (Stevens
Point/SPASH), of UW-Eau Claire
Thompson took medalist honors in back-to-back meets for UW-Eau Claire this week.
She opened with a six-over-par 78 to win by one stroke in the 12-team Carthage
Invitational on September 24. The Blugolds finished third as a team in the event.
Thompson fired a final round 73 at Prairie Woods Golf Course, to lead the Blugolds
to a 12-stroke victory in the 17-team UW-Whitewater Invitational held September
25-26. She opened the 36-hole event with an 82 but bounced back with the 73
to edge teammate Meghan Sobotta and UW-Oshkosh's Jennifer Young by two strokes
for medalist honors.

Week of Sept. 13 - 19
Jennifer Young, Sophomore (Salem/Westosha),
of UW-Oshkosh
Young totaled 150 strokes to finish fourth at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational
held September 18-19. Young, the top finisher from a WIAC school, carded 18-hole
rounds of 76 and 74 to finish five strokes off the lead. UW-Oshkosh finished
10th in the 24-team event with 649 strokes.

Week of Sept. 6 - 12
Maggie Loney, Junior (River Falls),
of UW-Eau Claire
Loney claimed top honors at the Knox (Ill.) Invitational on September 10 and
finished second at the Fighting Scot Invitational hosted by Monmouth (Ill.)
on September 11. She fired a 78 at Knox to outdistance teammate Jessica Thompson
by one stroke and followed that performance with another 78 at Monmouth, finishing
just two shots behind the winner.

Maggie Loney, Junior (River Falls),
of UW-Eau Claire
Loney claimed the individual championship at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational
held September 4-5. She shot a day one 75 and a day two 80 for a 36-hole total
of 155 to outdistance UW-Oshkosh's Jennifer Young by four strokes. Loney helped
the Blugolds to a third-place finish out of 14 teams at the home invitational.
