Week of Sept. 22 - 28
Jennifer Young, Freshman (Salem/Westosha),
of UW-Oshkosh
Young totaled 238 strokes over 27 holes to record a first-place finish at the
Carthage Invitational held September 26 in Kansasville and a fourth-place finish
at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational held September 27-28 in Fond du Lac. She took
medalist honors at the 18-hole Carthage Invitational with 75 strokes and finished
fourth at the 36-hole UW-Oshkosh Invitational with 163. Young's performances
helped the Titans to comfortable first-place finishes in the team standings
at both events over league-rival UW-Eau Claire.

Week of Sept. 15 - 21
Susie Lewis, Freshman (Crystal Lake,
Ill./Central), of UW-Stevens Point
Lewis fired a school record round of one-over-par 73 on the first day of the
Illinois Wesleyan Invitational in Bloomington, Ill. She followed her record
day with a 79 on Sunday to place seventh overall and first among all other WIAC
golfers. Her 73 on Saturday was part of the Pointers' single-day record team
round of 309. The Pointers placed seventh overall out of 23 teams.

Week of Sept. 8 - 14
Ahna Hendrickson, Sophomore (Lodi),
of UW-Platteville and Gabe VanDyk, Freshman (Luverne, Minn.), of UW-River Falls
Hendrickson and VanDyk tied for medalist honors with a two-day total of 166
at UW-Stevens Point Invitational on September 13-14. Hendrickson shot an 80
on the first day and followed that with an 86 during the second day of competition.
VanDyk shot the low round of the tournament on Saturday with a 76 and added
a 90 on Sunday. UW-River Falls and UW-Platteville tied for first place in the
team standings.

Week of Sept. 1 - 7
Maggie Loney, Sophomore (River Falls),
of UW-Eau Claire
Loney took first place by four strokes at the UW-Whitewater Invitational held
at Prairie Woods Country Club in Avalon, Wis. She fired back-to-back rounds
in the sub-80s, shooting a first round 76 and following with a second round
78 for a total of 154. UW-Eau Claire placed second as a team during the two-day
event.

Cheryl Treadwell, Sophomore
(Brookfield/Central), of UW-Oshkosh
Treadwell took medalist honors to help UW-Oshkosh win the 16-team UW-Eau Claire
Invitational held Aug. 30-31 at Mill Run Golf Course in Eau Claire. Treadwell
took first place with 160 strokes, shooting 80 each day of the 36-hole event.
UW-Oshkosh won the meet with 647 strokes, besting UW-Eau Claire's second-place
total of 657.
