Week of Sept. 24 - 30
Markka Farrington, Senior (West Bend/West),
of UW-Oshkosh
Farrington helped the Titans claim the team title at the Carthage Invitational
and Oshkosh Invitational over the weekend. At the Carthage Invitational Friday,
she shot a nine-hole round of 82 to finish second overall. At the Oshkosh Invitational,
she recorded rounds of 87 and 73 to win the individual title by one stroke.
In Sunday’s final round, she successfully birdied the Par 5 18th hole to claim
the individual title and help the Titans to the team title by one stroke over
Whitewater. The Titans trailed the Warhawks by 12 strokes after the first day
of competition.

Week of Sept. 17 - 23
Markka Farrington, Senior (West Bend/West),
of UW-Oshkosh
Farrington shot a 36-hole total of 148 to place second overall at the Illinois
Wesleyan Invitational Saturday and Sunday. She shot a 71 on the first day of
competition to establish an 18-hole personal best. The Titans established a
new school record with their first round total of 323.

Week of Sept. 10 - 16
Andrea Miller, Sophomore (Sheboygan/South),
of UW-Stevens Point
Miller shot an 88 to win medalist honors at the Ripon Invitational last Tuesday.
She won the meet by five strokes. Miller leads the Pointers with an 87.5 average
per 18 holes.

Week of Sept. 3 - 9
Katie Hommen, Senior (Elkhorn), of UW-Eau Claire
Hommen was the top Eau Claire finisher, placing third overall, with a 79 at
the UW-Whitewater Invitational. Her effort helped the Blugolds claim their second
consecutive invitational title. The second day of the 36-hole tournament was
wiped out by rain.

Week of Aug. 27 - Sept. 2
Jennifer Prock, Sophomore
(Eau Claire/Memorial), of UW-Eau Claire
Prock scored a 94 on the first day of the UW-Eau Claire Invitational, but came
back with an 82, the second best round Sunday, to help the Blugolds make up
12 strokes and win the tournament by six over St. Thomas (Minn.).
