RELEASED: Friday, November 30, 2007 UW-Stevens Point’s Robinson and UW-Whitewater’s Beaver Claim Academic All-America Football Honors
The team is comprised of all NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA players throughout the country and is voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), while being sponsored by ESPN The Magazine. Robinson, a senior from Florence, Wis., is majoring in chemistry and pre-pharmacy and boasts a 3.85 grade point average. A native of Palmyra, Wis. (Palmyra-Eagle H.S.), Beaver is a senior and is majoring in physical education with a 3.51 grade point average. He was recognized as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Max Sparger Football Scholar-Athlete this season. # # # # #
