Occupational Hearing Conservation
Professor Scott Bradley
Department of Communicative Disorders, UW-Whitewater

Professor Scott Bradley at UW-Whitewater has developed various methods for teaching his occupational hearing conservation courses, from specifically tailored web pages, to the use of multimedia materials. He discusses some of the ups and downs of several programs and software he has used in the past and the challenges of keeping his course material up-to-date with constantly changing state and federal regulations in his field.   In addition to an overview of his extensive experience using computer technology for his courses, Dr. Bradley raises important questions about technology and its effect on student learning, conceding that data in this area still needs to be developed further.

The Teaching with Technology Today project consists of a web-based NEWSLETTER and WISLRNTEC, a companion listserv where members discuss technology, pedagogy, and student learning. TTT was instigated by the UW Learning Technology Development Council; it receives significant support from UW-Extension's Division of Continuing Education.
