On UW TravelWIse, travelers and other staff involved in business travel have the ability to:
- Purchase airline tickets using real-time airline inventory and seat availability, and receive exclusive UW discount pricing on most carriers.
- Book tickets either online or through UW dedicated agents who specialize in domestic, international, and group transportation.
- Have access to real-time lodging and vehicle availability – reserve online or with an agent and receive Fox World Travel consortium and UW exclusive discounts and services.
- The consolidated source for travel policy and process standards.

UW TravelWIse will enhance the business travel shopping experience by providing comprehensive travel supplier information, from the most recognized brands in the industry, all in one easy-to-use interface, allowing you to make informed and cost effective decisions regarding business travel purchases and saving time in the process. The site allows comparison shopping amongst all major airline carriers, hotel brands, and vehicle rental suppliers. All reservations are quality checked and supported by the UW travel management company Fox World Travel.
UW TravelWIse is reserved for employee use only. University log-on and password required for access.
UW TravelWIse will allow the University to capture travel data to negotiate further discounts and service enhancements from airlines and other travel industry partners. As the program evolves, new and increased discounts and services will be offered. As a bonus, the savings achieved systemwide through the use of consolidated, consistent travel services will allow the UW to raise rates for paying/reimbursing travel expenses, so that rates are more in line with actual costs (lodging and meal maximums, for example). The aggregate savings of scale are expected to more than offset the expense of higher travel rates for the University.
Users can provide continual feedback regarding the new portal resources and e-marketplace experience through Traveler Voice, an online feedback exchange.
