We've tried
to make the TIS Credit Transfer Wizards as easy to use as possible,
but - just in case - the following transfer wizard tutorials
detail specific transfer scenarios and how a student can use
the wizard to achieve the right result. We have also included
a list of frequently asked questions
for specific situations not covered in the tutorials.
If
the materials presented still don't provide an answer to your
specific question or problem, please contact TIS by e-mail.
Scenario:
Suppose you took the course HIS 213 "Recent Latin America"
at UW-Washington County and want to know how it will transfer
to UW-Milwaukee. The TIS Single Course Transfer Wizard is
best way to find the answer to your question.

2: Using the Course Wizard for Transferring all Courses in a
Department
Scenario:
Suppose you plan to take a number of History courses at UW-Washington
County and want to know how they will transfer to UW-Milwaukee.
The TIS Course Transfer Wizard is best way to find the answer
to your question

3: Using the Reverse Look-Up Wizard
Scenario:
Suppose you're already attending UW-Madison and know that
you need to take Ed Psych 301. You'll be home for the summer
and want to take a course at your local UW (UW-Eau Claire)
that will transfer back to UW-Madison as Ed Psych 301. This
is the perfect situation for the Reverse Look-up Wizard.

4: Using the General Education Wizard
Scenario:
Everyone has to take some General Education (Gen Ed) courses
in order to graduate but the Gen Ed requirements differ at
the various UW campuses. Suppose you're attending Wisconsin
Indianhead Technical College but plan to transfer to UW-River
Falls and earn a degree there. You can use the General Education
Wizard to find out what courses you can take at Indianhead
that will count toward the Gen Ed requirements (such as social
science) at UW-River Falls.
