Applicant Identities
Applicants for the position of University of Wisconsin System President are advised that Wisconsin Statutes require the UW System to reveal to the public, upon request, the identity of every applicant who does not request in writing that his or her identity be held in confidence, and final candidates. Accordingly, each applicant and each nominee who accepts an invitation to be considered for this position will be afforded the opportunity to submit a written statement that he or she does not wish the UW System to reveal his or her identity until such time as he or she is named a final candidate. The UW System will not provide access to any record related to the application that may reveal the identity of the candidate, until the candidate is named as a finalist, provided a written statement to that effect is filed.
