The UW System Office of Safety and Loss Prevention's Occupational Safety & Health section was formed in late 1999 to focus resources on the improvement of occupational safety & health within the UW System.
The goal of the Occupational Safety & Health section is to improve occupational safety & health throughout the UW System. This goal will be accomplished through the application and utilization of innovative methods to resolve occupational safety and health issues within the UW System.
Focus
- Improvement of occupational safety & health throughout UW System.
- Coordination/participation with inter-campus teams to address customer priorities.
- Provision of professional development opportunities to enable campus safety & health professionals to increase knowledge, skills & abilities.
- Responsive customer service.
