The Risk Management section is responsible for administering Sections 16.865 and 20.865 and 895.46 and 893.82 of the State of Wisconsin Statutes. This includes establishing policies to ensure the preservation of System assets by the minimization of loss at all institutions. The Risk Manager assists institutions in the development and maintenance of appropriate contract language. This position administers the self-funded insurance program for the University of Wisconsin System. This includes program coverage analysis, claims investigation and settlement, premium allocation and loss control.
