Environmental Reporting Deadlines
Annual hazardous waste generation report
Large Quantity Generators (LQG) and Small Quantity Generators (SQG) of hazardous waste must file this with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Due by March 1 annually.
Tier II hazardous chemical inventory
Report and fee due to Wisconsin Emergency Management (WEM) by March 1 annually for campuses meeting the reporting thresholds.
Annual stormwater report
Due as specified in permit. DNR regulates municipal stormwater, and as part of that permit process, campuses can be included in the permit. Under terms of that permit, you may be required to submit an annual report.
Waste minimization report
Large Quantity Generators (LQG) of hazardous waste must put in their facility file by March 1 annually a report documenting the waste minimization efforts undertaken in the prior year.
PCB annual records and annual document log
Must be placed in their facility file annually by July 1 for subject facilities. Applicable if your facility is " using or storing at any one time at least 45 kilograms (99.4 pounds) of PCBs contained in PCB Container(s), or one or more PCB Transformers, or 50 or more PCB Large High or Low Voltage Capacitors."
Toxic release inventory (TRI)
In Wisconsin , state agencies and campuses are not exempt from Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reporting. Campuses meeting the reporting threshold must file the "Form R" with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources by July 1 annually. Do NOT file with US EPA—this is a state requirement only.
