UW-Madison Union fire

A two-alarm fire ignited by a construction worker at the Memorial Union Theater Monday morning caused approximately $10,000 in damage and injured one firefighter, according to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department.
The fire was reported at 7:38 a.m. and a second alarm was issued a few minutes later. Madison Fire Department spokesman Eric Dahl told Madison.com it was mainly confined to the attic, and was under control by 7:55.
