The Alliant Energy Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award
Four $3,500 awards are provided annually to faculty at UW System institutions within Alliant Energy's service area. The awards recognize teaching of outstanding quality that leads to substantial intellectual growth in students. Nominations for the Awards are due to the Office of Academic Affairs by February 12, 2010. Only those nominations submitted by the eligible institutions will be considered. Therefore, individuals must consult with and work through their Provost's office in making their applications.
Guidelines for 2010
Past Recipients
Two $5,000 awards are given to faculty and academic staff members at UW System institutions in recognition of outstanding career achievement in teaching. In addition, one $5,000 award is given to an academic department, program or other academic unit which demonstrates exceptional commitment to and effectiveness in teaching.
