Jing Chen joined the University of Wisconsin System Office of Policy Analysis and Research (OPAR) in July 2007. As Institutional Planner, Jing's major responsibilities include retention and graduation reporting and analysis, credits to degree analysis, and remediation analysis. She enjoys applying her quantitative and qualitative expertise to answer various analytical questions in student and institutional performance.Prior to joining OPAR, she worked as Research Assistant and conducted various research projects at the University of Arizona. In addition, she served as Graduate Associate for the Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques (SALT) Center, which was designed to help students with learning disabilities. She received her bachelor's degree in English and has multiple years of experience in teaching English in China. She received a M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Arizona in 2005.
