Step 4: Create and print the backsheet
After you have created the error report, you can now create the backsheets. The backsheets tell you how many errors are in each edit and also give some student/curricular totals.
1. From the 'Main Menu', click on the 'Input File Status' button to open up the 'Input File Status' window
2. Select the appropriate file (the file you want to generate a backsheet for), then click on the 'Backsheet' button
3. A dialog box will pop up asking you if you wish to regenerate the backsheet. You should click 'Yes' to regenerate the backsheet.
Note: Allow up to 10 minutes when creating the student backsheet. The curricular backsheet only takes a moment.
4. Once the backsheet has generated, you should print it out for your reference when it comes time to clean up the edits in error.
5. Using a highlighter to highlight the edits in error, like the example below, will make the clean up process much easier.
Now that you have created the backsheets and identified which edits are in error, it is now time to clean up the edits in error.
