2010-2011 Curricular Redesign Grant

The purpose of the Curricular Redesign Grant Program is to support curriculum redesign and related faculty and staff development in the effective use of technology in teaching and learning within the University of Wisconsin System. The Learning Technology Development Council (LTDC) advocates for effective use of technology in teaching and learning and advancing the innovative use of technology in the classroom and the online environment, by seeking proposals through the Curricular Redesign Program in 2010-2011 as follows:

Curricular Redesign Grant RFP Proposals are requesting for projects for the fiscal year 2010-2011.(Proposals will be due to UW System for the next funding cycle on March 15, 2010) We expect to fund a few proposals on:

  • projects that will advance the innovative use of technology for teaching and learning, and/or;
  • proposals related to faculty and instructional development in the effective use of technology in teaching and learning.

Detailed requirement information can be found in the RFP document – see link below. we have revised three key elements from the original RFP from previous years:

  • While collaboration among multiple campuses is strongly encouraged, it is not required. We will accept single campus proposal.
  • The maximum award for one single proposal is $25,000. We expect to fund a few proposals
    Fringe benefits will not be covered by the all UWS Academic Affairs grants. Campus match must be sought and approved prior to the submission of the proposal.

We will not be seeking Emerging Technology Grant proposals in the year 2010-2011 because of limited funding. Those interested in the ET grant are strongly encouraged to submit their RFP for the current 2009-2010 academic year. See details in the 2009-2010 Grant Opportunities section below.
