The opportunity to participate in the Variable Fund is a provision of 1999 Wisconsin Act 11. As of late 2000, the Wisconsin State Supreme Court was reviewing the legality of this Act. All or part of Act 11 could be rejected by the Court. It is possible that the Variable Fund will not be open again to new participants.
