Estimated Wage at Retirement

Classified employees: you can enter either your current hourly base wage rate and your estimated annual percentage wage increase until retirement OR you can enter your estimated highest hourly base wage rate at retirement. At termination, the highest base wage rate received as a state/UWS employee will be used to determine the value of your sick leave credits.
Unclassified 9 month employees: you can enter either your current 9 month annual base salary and your estimated annual percentage wage increase until retirement OR you can enter your estimated highest 9 month annual base salary at retirement. If you are a 9 month/academic year employee but also work during the summer, you should only enter your 9 month annual base salary because summer earnings are not included in this calculation. At termination, the highest annual base salary received as a state/UWS employee will be converted to an hourly rate and will be used to determine the value of your sick leave credits.
Unclassified 12 month employees: you can enter either your current 12 month annual base salary and your estimated annual percentage wage increase until retirement OR you can enter your estimated highest 12 month annual base salary at retirement. At termination, the highest annual base salary received as a state/UWS employee will be converted to an hourly rate and will be used to determine the value of your sick leave credits.
