The Office of Technology Development and Transfer is a part of the University of Wisconsin System Administration. In cooperation with the WiSys Technology Foundation, Inc., "WiSys," a subsidiary of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, faculty and staff at UW System institutions other than UW-Madison, have the option of patenting and licensing inventions and technologies developed through their research.
