The Office of General Counsel (OGC) provides legal advice and representation to the Board of Regents of the UW System, the Office of the UW System President, and UW System institutions; serves as liaison to state government offices and agencies, including the Wisconsin Department of Justice; and provides information and training on legal issues to administrators and staff throughout the UW System. The OGC is committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality, professionalism and integrity in the delivery of legal services, and strives to assure timely, effective advising and guidance.

UW Law Days 2010 Conference                            

UW System attorneys are pleased to present UW Law Days 2010 Conference, March 9 - 10, 2010, at the Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin.  A symposium on legal issues and new legal developments, the conference includes sessions on a wide range of legal matters of interest to university administrators.  The conference sessions are offered in three program tracks: Employment Issues, Student Issues, and Business Affairs Issues, in addition to a plenary session on A Tale of Two Cities? The University in the Community.
