Statute Language:
The amounts in the schedule for the fee remissions under s. 36.27 (3m).Section 36.27 (3m) states:
The board shall grant full remission of fees to any resident undergraduate student who is enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and who is the child or surviving spouse of an ambulance driver, a correctional officer, fire fighter, emergency medical services technician, or law enforcement officer who was killed in the line of duty in this state. Please refer to the statutes for full details.

Year-End Instructions (lapse, carry forward, etc.):
Any unexpended or unencumbered current year budget dollars must be lapsed back to the state at the end of the fiscal year. There is no cash balance to carry forward. The new year budget is increased by encumbrances carried forward to the new year; budgeted and accounted for in appropriation 175. Refunds of prior year expenditures are deposited to appropriation 100 as receipts (9209).
