Alex Roe joined the UW System Office of Capital Planning and Budget in mid-August 2013. She previously was the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Planning and Technical Services for eleven years at the Connecticut State System and served as an architect and the Education/Higher Team Leader for the State of Connecticut Department of Public Works.

Welcome to the Capital Planning and Budget website.
Our office provides assistance to the Board of Regents, the 15 institutions of UW System and, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Administration Division of State Facilities, the state Building Commission. We offer our institutional partners guidance and expertise in capital budget planning and architectural/engineering services to assist them in planning, developing, and maintaining their biggest single physical investment - university facilities.
Our office also develops the Board of Regents biennial capital budget request and submits it to the state's Department of Administration for their recommendation as part of the governor's biennial state building program. read more >>
