SECTION 20: FACULTY, ACADEMIC STAFF, AND TEACHING ASSISTANTS
20-8 ACADEMIC STAFF TITLE AND COMPENSATION PLAN
Upon recommendation of the Acting President of the University of Wisconsin System , the register of proposed amendments to the academic staff title and salary structure presented by Hayes/Hill, Inc., be approved and, as required by Wis. Stats. § 36.09(1 )(k), be accepted for transmittal to the Secretary, Department of Employment Relations for review and approval.
Following receipt of approval for the amendments from the Secretary, Department of Employment Relations, the Board affirms the delegated authority of the President of the System to monitor and maintain the unclassified title and salary structure as amended and affirms the responsibility of the President to take any and all necessary actions to ensure consistent use of the title and salary structure among the institutions, subject to an annual review by the Board of Regents. The President may extend delegated authority to the Chancellors.
