PRESENT:  Regents Judith Crain, John Drew, Tony Evers, Michael Falbo, Tim Higgins, Edmund Manydeeds, Katherine Pointer, Charles Pruitt, Troy Sherven, Michael Spector, José Vásquez, and Gerald Whitburn

UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE:  Regents Jeffrey Bartell, Mark Bradley, Gary Roberts, Brent Smith, Mark Tyler, and David Walsh

CLOSED SESSION RESOLUTION

Upon convening in open session, the following resolution was moved by Regent Falbo, seconded by Regent Whitburn, and adopted on a roll-call vote, with Regents Crain, Drew, Evers, Falbo, Higgins, Manydeeds, Pruitt, Pointer, Sherven, Spector, Vásquez, and Whitburn voting in the affirmative.  There were no dissenting votes and no abstentions.

Closed Session Resolution

Resolution 10069:       That the Board of Regents move into closed session to consider salary approval for an interim chancellor for UW-Eau Claire, as permitted by s. 19.85(1)(c), Wis. Stats.

CLOSED SESSION

During the closed session, the following resolution was passed unanimously by all Regents present.

Approval of Salary:  Interim Chancellor University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

Resolution 10070:       That, upon the recommendation of the President of the University of Wisconsin System, the Board approves a salary of $220,000 for Gilles Bousquet, appointed Interim Chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, effective July 15, 2012.
