Biography
Katherine C. Pointer is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is studying Political Science and Economics. Katherine grew up in De Pere, Wisconsin, where she graduated from De Pere High School. She spent her first year of college at UW-La Crosse, where she was Vice Chairman of the College Republicans and was elected to the position of Freshman Senator on the University’s Student Senate. During her time on Student Senate, Katherine served on the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee. Katherine also worked for Senator Ron Johnson’s successful campaign for U.S. Senate in 2010. She spent the summer of 2011 living Washington, D.C. and working for the Republican National Committee’s finance team. She anticipates graduating from UW-Madison in 2014.
