Hello Dave, Bob, Karen, Rick, David, and Sheryl, It was nice to see everyone at the meeting last Thursday. I think this will be a very productive project. I am sending out a list of the contact information to everyone in our group. I know you already have this information on paper, but it might help to have an electronic version. I am also attaching a MS Word document with this exact same information. Soon I will be sending out a sample of questions that we can give our students (past and present) regarding the transition from high school mathematics courses to college mathematics courses. Once we agree on the questions I will send out a final questionnaire. As a reminder, we have a meeting scheduled on Monday, March 6 at 5:00 in Platteville. David Wiemiller has informed me that he cannot make this meeting. It seemed difficult to find this original date and I think it will be just as difficult to find a new date, so unless there is strong opposition, I would like to keep March 6 as our next meeting date. I have set up arrangements to get some information from David regarding his comments on the high school and college syllabi. I have also made arrangements to pass along to David the information discussed during our meeting.
