Technology Transfer

• Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) - Patents the discoveries of UW-Madison researchers and licenses these technologies to leading companies in Wisconsin, the United States, and worldwide.
• UWM Research Foundation - Supports research and innovation at UW-Milwaukee by providing funding for scholarships and grants and by engaging in corporate partnering activities.
• WiSys Technology Foundation, Inc. - A subsidiary of WARF, WiSys identifies innovative technologies developed throughout the UW System to bring them to the marketplace.

Events

• CUR Announces Institutionalizing Undergraduate Research Workshop Participants (Dec. 13, 2010)
  The UW System has been selected to participate in a state-wide workshop devoted to institutionalizing undergraduate research. The focus will be on developing and sharing best practices throughout the UW System and focusing on undergraduate research to serve as an economic engine throughout the state. This award is made possible, in part, through the National Science Foundation.
